  • Joshua is not confident he can win the fight. That is the only reason he is putting up so many obstacles.

On the real, it sounds like AJ is overpricing himself....has he ever took home 50 million?

If Wilder and his team are as sure as you, they should give $50m to AJ.

How does it sound like that? He clearly says that it does not do that much, and if they think it does, they should offer him that amount.

What I don't understand is that you and MissNY choose to take one or two bad posts from Wilder fans and try and use it to characterize all Wilder fans in some weak attempt to promote an agenda. Yet you never make an attempt to put the things Hearn and Joshua say into context and ensure it aligns with previous statements.

For instance: Joshua says if the fight makes $100M, give him $50M and he signs. Well, is he talking $100M in total revenue or $100M in purses? If it's the former, how is it reasonable for a fighter to get half of the total revenue (not profit). If it's the latter, then how can anyone support the $12.5M flat fee offer if $100M in purses is in the realm of possibility.

Which leads us back to this: there is not finite revenue number to assign to this fight (even if held in the UK), so why would a flat fee be appropriate?

I'm looking forward to your educated (without the use of derogatory terms/use of boxing knowledge) and undeluded (reflects what individuals have actually said and done and not what you project them to do so you can argue it now) response.

I feel like instead of addressing the issue, most AJ fans want to get into a game of semantics.
You hit the nail on the head.

How is he overpricing himself? This fight will easily do 150 million dollars in Vegas. 50 million for Joshua and 100 million for Wilder. You think that's a bad deal?

The question is, would AJ come to Las Vegas for $50 million? He's been very outspoken on how he doesn't need to fight in the U.S.!
