Because GGG said "Anyone from 154 to 168"

    That answer your question?

    • These trolls havent even heard about Derevyanhenko till recently, now they say its the best fight ever and pushing for the fight like crazy. What will they say after GGG beats him - the guy had only 12 fights, bla, bla, bla, so its not a legit victory anyway

      • How is facing Derevyanchenko penalizing GGG? And why do they keep talking about a Canelo fight in the fall? The NSAC is pushing for a 1 year suspension

        • Well let's hope the IBF does it's job! Derevyanchenko shouldn't have to wait until 2019! It's not GGG's fault that Canelo popped, but it's not Derevyanchenko's fault either! Derevyanchenko is asking to take the fight on short notice, not change the May 5th date, so let's go! IBF DO YOUR JOB!!!

          • This is the fight to make. Canelo’s out for the time being. The way I see it, GGG should fight his manditories when the opportunity presents itself. The time of opportunity is NOW!! Dev deserves his shot and if he wants to take it on short notice, then oblige him and make the mando happen.

I'm no mathematician, but I think 164 is between 154 and 168, yeah?

You fight what is put infront of you, Derev was willing to fight Andrade, but it was Andrade who pulled out due to not being happy with the cash offered.
Andrade never pulled out of the Derev fight over money. He didn't take the fight in December last year because HBO told him he wasn't fighting until the following year then at the last minute told him he could fight on the Lemieux card. Andrade agreed to fight him in January and February for 50% less!!!!!!! It was Derev side that refused to fight over money in January and February. You've got it backwards !!!!!

The WBC, IBF and WBA are going to be having a conference call to discuss Golovkin's mandatory obligations. That's what always happens when unified champs have multiple mandos waiting for their shot. GGG also has a possible unification with BJS to be considered too.

The sanctioning organizations will make their decision and Golovkin will have to do whatever they order him to do, if he wants to keep all his belts. He is being treated no differently than any other unified champion.
Na’ll bro, if this was a regular day at the office you shill, there wouldn’t be a story to be told.

Cong**** for being that guy at the UFO crash site telling onlookers there is nothing to see here.

You are the Agent Smith’s of all bum arse Agent Smiths... Here is what makes this a not so “standard” and highly special GGG gets privilege situation...

                    - Does a fighter normally get an opponent rejected in Jaimi Mungiau (or whatever his name is), request another NON COMPETITIVE fighter (Gary Spike O'Sullivan) over a waiting mandatory and even switch the STATE and ARENA within a month to get it approved?

All on a timeline that could not possibly allow for the waiting mandatory to be met? And then believe they should not be stripped of the IBF belt?

                    - Doesn’t The GGG request to fight Gary O’Sullivan nullify any intent for an exception such as a unification with Sanders or even a massive fight (Canelo)? So why are you okay with the implication that there is nothing preventing GGG from fighting his f’ing mandatory?

                    - Sure captain obvious there are many potential outcomes of any meeting but isn’t the key to the article whether it’s fair to Derevyanchenko to have team GGG take these remarkable steps to avoid fighting him as a mandatory? And ruin a huge day for Vegas boxing in Cinco De Mayo?

                    - When is it normal that IBF fighters just do not fight Mandatories with in 9 months because they need an easy fight? Is that not against an IBF rule? So you are citing it as standard that champions can bypass their mandatory and the timeline? Because the Mandatory with 11 fights in as a pro is just “too f’ing dangerous,” to take on when he has had less than a months notice? So one again it’s okay to switch states and fight a tomato can instead? All on the biggest fight day in boxing where events such as the Boxing Expo have been scheduled in Vegas and Mexican fight fans probably will not come out because GGG is fighting a non Mexican tomato can in California!!

                    - Lastly is it standard that the Mandatories promoter would have to participate in a meeting to discuss why any of this is remarkable BS?

Yeah right bro there is absolutely nothing new about any of this. Matter fact all boxing should just run this way. Why did they even write the f’ing article?🤨

I'm no phylosopher, but I believe the devil is in the details yeah?

Didn't Ward just come back from a long ass lay off that lasted years due to injury?

Didn't GGG challenge Froch at 168?

So why change stances when it comes to Ward?

Why did he say Ward was high risk/low reward and then after being pressurized and called out on his hypocricy, offer 164 catchweight or no fight?

Why was he whining about Canelo catchweight and then turning around and demanding a catchweight from an inactive fighter returning from years of inactivity?

All this after saying anyone from 154 to 168?
