His trainer and promotor are scared of potentially taking a loss so they are trying to AVOID his mandatory and bring in the easiest guys available. What is important to focus on is the other Johnson. He KO’d Tureano Johnson (who was 20 and 1) to become mandatory in the IBF eliminator. Did I mention it was his 10th fight? He has only fought 11 times and is already beating guys that O’Sullivan and Jaimi would never have fought. Besides that what’s to argue they aren’t mandatories because they haven’t qualified themselves. He won the eliminator.
