Yeah a fall fight is a pipe dream at this point.

I also never heard of Canelo chasing the IBF, WBA, WBO middleweight belts. If so, please excuse my ignorance, because I don't follow these belts. I think they are all trash.
Canelo sulked for a while after the WBC told him he had to give up his belt. He said they were corrupt and he didn't want to fight for their belt against GGG, but he did fight for the WBA and IBF belts.

He made friends with Sulaiman again after that doe, and he was going to fight for the WBC belt in the rematch.

According to Sulaiman, the WBC, WBA and IBF are going to have a conference call tomorrow and decide what to do about GGG's mandos now the Canelo fight is off.

They may do what Sulaiman wants and allow him a voluntary - which would probably be Spike - then the Canelo rematch.

If Sulaiman doesn't get his way the IBF will order him to fight Derevyanchenko next.

How do they know Canelo will be next after Spike? He could be suspended for at least a year or even more. Will GGG wait as long as it takes?

Did Canelo say anything about fighting GGG again? Haven't seen anything like that. Or is that just a guess on their part?

I don't believe the Canelo rematch will EVER happen.

no he did not, you excuse-making ***wit.....

he continued to negotiate in good faith with Team Bullshht, and he did so because they said this.....

              No Negotiating Weight With Canelo.....
"Now if Canelo vacates the title..... then anything is negotiable - the money, location and weight.".....
The biggest hurdle in making a fall unification between middleweight champions Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin (34-0, 31KOs) and Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez, 46-1-1, 32KOs) is the weight.

Canelo continued to negotiate in good faith.....

"I will not be forced into the ring by artificial deadlines...... I am hopeful that by putting aside this ticking clock, the two teams can now negotiate this fight, and 'GGG' and I can get in the ring as soon as possible and give the fans the fight they want to see."
LOS ANGELES - Ring Magazine and Lineal Middleweight World Champion Canelo Alvarez today issued the following statement: "After much consideration, today, I instructed my team at Golden Boy Promotions to continue negotiating a fight with Gennady 'GGG' Golovkin and to finalize a deal as quickly as possible. I also informed the WBC that I will vacate its title.

..... but Mr "anyone from 154-168" shat the bed over weight, AGAIN!!

once again, my links/proof > your bull****

The other thing I said was GGG should take his mandatory. Clear the hate out your eyes man and read more carefully.
Yep, over reacted. You are alright with me then. As long as you’re about making fights happen bro you are alright with me.

I personally don’t care who’s your favorite fighter is let’s just see great fights happen.

Ward and Golovkin were also THREE DIVISIONS APART, ****head. That's why GGG offered to move up ONE DIVISION, to close the gap a little.

He obviously didn't know that Ward has a zany sense of humour and regularly calls out guys THREE DIVISIONS below him, just for a bit of fun and banter.
