Ortiz is a crafty 40 year old SOUTHPAW KO artist with excellent defense and a dangerous counter puncher and by far the best man Wilder has ever shared a ring with, Wilder lost almost every round, managed to drop Ortiz, then got badly hurt, showed tremendous heart and grit, somehow survived and pulled out a hail Mary come from behind KO to save himself.

In spite of his POOR AS HELL skillset, DW never went down, and has an excellent gas tank.

Wlad is a crafty 40 year old KO artist with excellent defense and a dangerous counter puncher and by far the best man Joshua has ever shared a ring with, Joshua lost almost every round, managed to drop Wlad, then got badly hurt, showed tremendous heart and grit, somehow survived and pulled out a hail Mary come from behind KO to save himself.

In spite of his SOLID OLYMPIAN skillset, AJ WENT DOWN HARD, and has an TERRIBLE gas tank.

This fight is the epitome of 50/50.

ortiz had more moments than wlad.

So he has a high KO%. So did Michael Grant.

          Who did he beat?

Grant, Byrd, Rahman, Tua, Maskaev all of them were elite heavies at one point and all of them got pushed to their limits by a southpaw journeyman named Jeff Wooden.

Wooden was a 6'3 215lb southpaw, 42% KO ratio, racked up about 3 losses to journeymen including a fight he got sparked out in.

If a southpaw journeyman as small as Wooden could give these men absolute hell, even knocking out Maskaev, what if the hell makes you believe Ortiz wouldn't KO these men cold or box their heads off?

Ortiz is a 6'4 240lb southpaw, over 90% KO ratio (a whopping +50% on Wooden), and has dominated every single opponent put in front of him including Jennings and Thompson.

Not to mention Ortiz's extensive amateur pedigree compared to Grant's 12 amateur fights, it's no contest.

Ortiz didn't gas out. He got caught and hurt by punches.Your belief that he gassed out after a few punches is ****** and an example of your biased emotions.

Watch the fight again. Ortiz clearly slows before being hit again. The punches he threw trying to knock wilder down took a lot out of him.

BS. Ortiz went down from punches not exhaustion. Obviously he threw less after Wilder recovered but he never stopped trying to take Wilder out.

Ok the 38 year old Ortiz who’d fought two rounds in the last year + was in his prime.
