Its astonishing how people try to pretend Wlad was a credible win after the previous performance he put up against Tyson Fury which was whole year and a half prior. Dude was washed and everyone on this board knows it. You cant beat Father Time. I guess age and inactivity doesn't mean anything anymore.

Both were seriously in a state of decline and coming off an 18 month lay off as well as Ortiz who’d fought less than two rounds in 14 months coming into the Wilder fight.

Just goes to show how poor the belt holders in the division right now. Heavyweight is dead, cruiser is where it’s at.

Watch Wlad vs Fury then watch Ortiz vs the journeyman Dave Allen and tell me who looked better

Ortiz is a level beyond both fighters in terms of skill and power

This fight has really brought out the ******s. I don't care about their official age, just compare the physical condition of the two. If someone tells me Ortiz (best win Bryant Jennings) is a better win then wlad (haye, povetkin, pulev and many others) then I can't take them seriously. Don't care what other opinions they've got on the sport, cause they don't know what they are on about. The difference in quality on display between the two fights was ridiculous.

I don't believe Ortiz is 38 for one second.

All these Cuban refugees lie about their age to get a pro deal.

                You're kidding right?

Peter (twice), Thompson twice, Byrd twice, Pulev, Povetkin, Brock, Haye, Ibragimov, Rahman, Chambers, Chagaev and the list goes on.

All of the guys above did more or equal in their pro careers than Ortiz.

Saying Ortiz is anywhere near Klitschko is downright ***ing ******ed.

                    Heavyweight is definitely not dead.

Pretty much this. From a historical context Wlad is obviously better. But that's not the question and the dates of the fight can't be ignored. Wlad was declining before the Fury loss.

Ortiz was definitely the more dangerous fighter at the time of the fights. Joshua beat a clearly diminished version of Klitschko and that shouldn't even be a debate.
