Don't mind him as a fighter style wise but just recognise that he's an overrated fighter.

Toney was just as overhyped by HBO in the early 90's as Broner was 2012-2013.

Despite Toney's consistent poor performances all the way up to the Roy Jones fight in 1994

    So their paths are similar.

I just don't like the comparison because of the difference in skill level.

Well Toney is not that skilled a fighter either.

Broner is a lot less skilled yes I agree but Toney is hardly an overly skilled fighter.

Broner has always been a good fighter, but has real limitations. When he was a weight bully, he was able to look better. Now that his body no longer allows him to sweat down that far, he has to fight guys his size, and it shows.

It is sad really because he has tools and toughness. If he had more inner drive and killer instinct he could give a great fight to anyone at 140-47.

They're both black boxers. There's that.

Broner always makes weight, always says that he is on the best shape of his life, his team always claims that he is going to put the performance of a life time, yet in the ring his performance is just him shaking his head every time he gets hit, he just isn't that good.

You are going to be on suicide watch when Toney enters into the hall of fame.

Toney was quite a bit better.

Broner needed a gift to beat a beyond his best Daniel Ponce De Leon. Let that sink in.

He should have stayed at 135 and dominated like Mosley did back in the day when he beat Paulie he should have move down to 140.Broner made some bad career moves jumping up in weight to soon rushing to be a superstar his body is ruined now

Errrm, no. No I definitely will not be.

James Toney's inevitable and deserved Hall Of Fame induction will certainly not bother me.

Me pointing out the fact that he is a vastly overrated fighter clearly bothers you, however.
