michael nunn is comparable to antonio dimarco

mike mccallum is comparable to adrian granados

vassily jirov is comparable to malignaggi

broners a 4 division champ and toney only a 3 so broner has a slight edge

Broner got a gift against Ponce, Toney got a super gift against Dave Tiberi who is not as good as Ponce.

So the critique applies to both there.

Toney struggled badly on multiple occasions with guys who weren't even ranked.
The difference is that we saw Toney perform at a higher level than Broner will ever reach. We can compare their lows, but not their highs.

I think it is fair to say Toney was an underachiever for that reason. I don't think Broner is an underachiever. I think he just has a much lower capacity.

I mean if you raised Broner's IQ by like 50 points, he might have something to work with. As he is, he hit his limit.

Well again that's fair enough I don't disagree with that.

Just stating your critique applies for both fighters.

Broner is basically a poor version of Toney. That itself is a similarity between the two.

I have given reasons as to why there are similarites between the two feel free to refute them.

nobody would ever utter the words broner and high rank, mid rank, or low rank, all time great, at this, or any other time...

And what's that got to do with the fact that they have similarites in style, flaws and holes in their game?

i'd say floyd was an upgraded version of james toney, before i'd ever say, broner is a modern day version..
