I can agree on that both have as much likeability outside the ring too, zero to none lol.

Like I have said multiple times in this very thread, Broner is not on James Toney's level.

Toney is a first ballot HOF'er.

      What a "hater"

It's hilarious that if you point out flaws in a fighters style and skills and their resume and clearly provide evidence to back that up it is considered hate. Especially when it comes to the internets beloved fighters. I have been objective and fair with Toney's resume and I'm also open to objective discussion about it in wins that others consider better than I would such as Prince Charles and Barkley for example. But that's "hate" apparently.

What's the point in even having a discussion board open of when an opposing opinion comes along to a internet beloved fighter like Toney it is considered "hate" or "foolish" or "can't be taken seriously" despite the fact so far NO ONE has disputed anything I have said in this thread barring IMDAZED in regards to his HW run which we are now discussing.

      What a joke.

is adrien broner the modern day james toney?

            Getting my "butt kicked" apparently.

Yet I don't see anyone even attempting to dispute any of my points

I am more than open to discussion. You know, on a discussion board.

When it comes to internet beloved fighters, when someone critiques them it becomes a sensitive subject. I mean, just look at this thread, been called a "hater" about 5 times or so. Pathetic!! I want to know how I am not being objective about his career.

One bozo actually said "you will be on suicide watch when Toney get's into the HOF" How feminine can you get?

Ruiz, Peter, Rahman, Holyfield, Oquendo. Outcomes weren’t always favorable but he fought on even or better terms with all of them. If he was a career HW that would be whatever. But to come from 160 and do that past your prime is impressive IMO.

Wow - I haven't read through peoples replies, but I can only imagine how this is going to blow up in your face.

The bold is the only thing which could be comparable.

Never said he was a modern day Adrien Broner.

If my initial post wasn't clear which perhaps it wasn't then it's been clarified clearly multiple times well before page whatever this is.

Simple, Toney is better than Broner. That is a stone cold fact in regards to skills and in regards to resume and achievements however where they do compare is style, and the holes Toney has, Broner has. That is what I have been saying.

Out of those I only see W's over Holyfield's corpse and Oquendo.

As far as I'm aware Fres Oquendo was not a HW contender in 2008.

So I still only see one.

I won't argue he hung in with them. Fair play for that. But I don't consider that impressive.
