They don't pay Haymon 10%. See the recent golden boy case for those details. Some of them don't pay him any fees at all.Comment

Hearn and Haymon are in bed... Haymon is an advisor, can't advise and promote - conflict of interest, reason why Dibella works so closely with Haymon, how do you think the Brook /Spence Jr. Fight happened? Haymon pulls the strings, Jacobs to Hear - per Haymon - these fighters are ultra loyal to Haymon

By Jacobs moving to HBO, which was NOT Haymon's idea, he cost his other 154-168 a chance at getting Jacobs. Haymon has had guys on HBO past few years but AS B Sides. Big difference. Danny will be the A side in his debut and A side against everyone but Canelo or GGG. He is the A side in spite of his limited affiliation with Haymon and not because of it.Jacobs fighting helps him more than Jacobs not fighting. And if Jacobs can become The Man by beating GGG in a rematch or Canelo his value & worth for everyone connected to him skyrockets. Its a W with potential to be a huge W.
Haymon fighters have fought on HBO before. Hell Jacobs fought on HBO before this deal. I hate that some people act like HBO & Haymon don't do business together at some higher clip than anyone else doesn't do business with some other entity.
Boxing is divided in about 12 different ways with networks, promoters, managers, abc groups, weight divisions & so on & so forth. Its hard to make a fight in general in boxing. I don't see that Jacobs moving to HBO with Hearn is gonna make it even an inch harder than it was without HBO, Hearn & Jacobs coming together.
Isn't that good. More guys on the same network?
Haymon has power cuz he's Haymon. PBC seemed to have added very little to his level of power to me. And generally I think it brought more criticism of him & made a joke of him more than it did anything else. So idk that there is any great loss with doing business with non-PBC en******.
Well Haymon has misplayed his hand to some degree I think we can all agree & Hearn is a pretty straight shooter so idk if Hearn is taking shots so much as speaking on the obvious.
I mean Spence is maybe the most crazy potential guy in boxing today besides Joshua & this poor bastard isn't even on the schedule 5(?) months after winning his first belt. This is not how a serious manager should be handling a guy with so much potential. And this is what happened with Thurman & Jacobs already. Those guys had some good performances & they f#cking sat for months on end & were out of the publics attention.
You can't move a guy towards his highest potential in the sport by keeping them on the sidelines so long.
If Haymon can't secure dates HE NEEDS to sign these guys to promoters who can secure them dates & keep them in the publics attention. Its a all around L for Haymon, the fighter, the sport in general & for us fans to not have these guys fighting & its a W all around for keeping them active however you can keep them active all around too.
Its pretty simple when you think about it like that that this is a great move for Jacobs & hopefully will be a great move for Spence next & maybe Thurman or LSC & other guys soon after.
Haymon had way more power with PBC. More fighters went with him because of it and he had more dates so he had more room in his stable. Now with just Showtime and even his 3 Fox dates a year and his FS1 series coming to and end there is even less room for this may fighters.
I am sure his plan was/is to keep his core 30-40 on SHO and the lower level guys do what Jacobs did. Make no mistake, he doesn't want that premium group going with promoters. But which fighters are other promoters going to target? Those guys for sureComment

If they make under 6 figures they don't pay. The guys making purses pay 10% and some up to 20%. See the Golden Boy court cases for the exact details. Haymon isn't in this for charity workComment
