He can outplay & for sure out promote most of these American boxing promoter dipsh^ts on a bad day.
nah Haymon loses power when they sign with promoters. That's why the big time promoters quit promoting his guys. They wanted them to sign promo contracts or not interested.

If he wanted his guys to have promo deals he wouldn't have had them expire with golden boy and tell them not to resign. Plain and simple. He wants all control

Hearn and Haymon are in bed... Haymon is an advisor, can't advise and promote - conflict of interest, reason why Dibella works so closely with Haymon, how do you think the Brook /Spence Jr. Fight happened? Haymon pulls the strings, Jacobs to Hear - per Haymon - these fighters are ultra loyal to Haymon

It will be interesting to see as the year ends which other fighters sign exclusive deals with promoters from the PBC Brand? Such as Carl Frampton, Daniel Jacobs, and Beterbiev.

Frampton was a shock because he sells well. While Jacobs is a damn good fighter doesn't have the track record of selling out arenas, and Beterbiev is an absolute question mark is he a hype job or the real deal?

Hearns is a damn good promoter. He's got a very impressive track record in the U.K. however in the United States promoters not only have to compete with themselves but with sports like the NFL, NBA, the NCAA and the MLB which is a big reason why boxing is still on the back burner stateside.

Fighters should look to sign with promoters who have HBO connection for the simple reason if Jezerrel Corrales vs Machado is a main event then that should scream to these fighters that HBO is desperate to get any type talent for there network.

HBO is going through a rebuild with Top Rank leaving for ESPN. There is a lot of talent that should be fighting more than once or twice a year.

Seriously the whole Oscar is dead and his company is one fighter is absolutely insane. Fact of the matter is Golden Boy Promotions sold over 2.5 million pay per views this year (maybe more depending on the final number with GGG) with Canelo.

Who else in the sport is doing that? I'm not hating but Canelo is probably worth more by himself than probably the entire PBC roster combined.

Just saying Oscar de la Hoya gets guys multiple fights on a premier network and has retooled his company. Hopefully fighters are smart and realize this.

Haymon is losing money & losing potential future value on fighters by not having guys active too. Of course there is some trade off there, but usually its not worth the offer. Hearn is a guy who actually brings something to the table.

I think Haymon wants to keep his core guys away from promoters and leverage ESPN. Guys like Thurman, Wilder, Spence, Santa Cruz, Mares, Jacobs, Frampton, Garcia, Russell, Charlos.

Guys like Felix Diaz, John Molina, Julian Williams, Tony Harison, Lipinnets I don't think he cares if they sign with a promoter. He still collects his percentage and then the promoter is on the hook to get them fights.

But his core guys, I am sure he wants to keep them on Showtime and promoter freee

As you mention Jacobs IS a core guy doe & he IS going to HBO now. I don't see why Haymon would be overly loyal to any channel forever or 100% of the time. As the manager you kinda gotta play with everyone to up your & your fighters upside. The less people you play well with the less people making you offers & the fewer bidding wars you are involved in.

And what do you mean leverage ESPN???? Whats ESPN got to do with anything with PBC? They had a deal it didn't work out & now TR gots a deal with ESPN where they show one card on 3 different channels from round to round lmfao.

Idk if ESPN is THAT much of a player to leverage anything from or do anything with necessarily.
