What is there to like about Haymon's management style, yeah he gets the fighters paid (you're not making that money), handsomely, and in some cases to fight nobodies but what's that got to do with me. He took a massive amount of money from a trust fund, spent all of it and now his fighters are just sitting, in their prime, great fighters such as Errol Spence Jr..
I think it's wrong to look at only the flaws in Haymon's PBC program, because there are a lot more pros than cons as far as I can tell.

However, the inactivity really is a bish I gotta say and it's really frustrating now. I think all of his champions should be fighting at least three times a year. This once or twice a year thing aint cool at all man.

And glad to see Hearn getting these calls cuz he's the best promoter in the game in my eyes today & him coming to the US is a potential game changer for this market cuz mfers are gonna need to put in work to keep up with Hearn. Hearn, unlike most American promoters, actually knows how to promote his fighters +/& maybe more importantly an event.
Yes say what you will about Hearn but he definitely promotes his fighters well. This is a good move for Jacobs, I wouldn't be surprised if he sets up a fight for him in the UK down the line so Jacobs gets some more coverage in the UK

If fighters wants to join him then he should explore that possibility. Knowing Hearn if one fighter called he would claim 10 fighters called him.

I really don't know why more american fighters don't do this. I remember Winky wright and Diego corrales getting mad respect/love when they came here.

Some of them can make a good name/money for themselves here. And am sure Hearn would explore that possibility with Jacobs.

Hey man if you don't hype yourself who will.

But legit any US fighter aware of him who's unaffiliated SHOULD be calling him if their smart. Matchroom Boxing in the US has potential to influence things in the whole boxing marketplace in the US. Thats not a bad thing to hitch your wagon to.

Agreed, The UK boxing scene is in a good place right now so getting some coverage (and potentially a UK fanbase) is most certainly a positive. Jacobs has an entertaining fighting style, is eloquent and comes across as a humble man. All positives for attracting fans over here.

Marco Antonio Barrera and, especially, Johnny Tapia too. The fans went absolutely bonkers for Johnny.

absolutely, he isn't Broner/Wilder or Mayweather for example. over here they love boxers that are eloquent and humble. He would get a lot of people wanting to watch him live here.

It would be bad for us fans if Spence, Thurman and Crawford all ended up on different channels not fighting each other
