[QUOTE=Xi_;18115218]Where do I mention Ring here?
Also please note that the ring had a much better rep in the 1980's but again I didn't cite them in this point. But since you brought them up Tommy Hearns was 1984 ring magazine fighter of the year before his 1985 match with Hagler - in the toughest era in boxing post-SRR.Comment

[QUOTE=Xi_;18115236]Sure, but history and what they accomplished after the lists showed that they didn't stack up to Duran and especially Hearns. None close.Comment

Well yet again that is more of an opinion.
Shane being #3 P4P in 2010 is literally a documented fact.
It seems the term "fact" is clearly elluding you.Last edited by IronDanHamza; 10-05-2017, 06:22 PM.Comment

But then on the flipside of the coin you tried to claim that Pernell Whitaker was on the P4P list when he fought Trinidad.I just have fun with it. I mean they criticize a fighter for moving into a division which wasn't even invented and say the fighters ducked other fights who's names they don't know and speak on fights they haven't seen. They even pretend 1984 happened before 1983 for example to suit their agendas. It's a fanboy thing I guess.
So you've provided your share of laughs yourself with your incorrect statments.Comment

I saw him on lists right around that time. I think he was dropped because he failed a test for pot but nothing in the ring. He was inactive by 17 months vs. Mosley's 16 months and did have a fight scheduled for October 1998 which got cancelled. He was ranked #4 by Ring Magazine in the February 1999 issue.
So much different than creating a lie that Hagler only decided to fight Duran after Hearns KO'd him.Comment
