I'm also intrigued what these "multiple" wars were too since multiple indicates 2 or more. I'd like to know because maybe I ought to check them out. I thought I'd seen every Duran and Hearns bout.

Duran small and past his prime still better than anything Floyd has tackled. He had great victories AFTER he fought Hagler.

You talk about these "respectable" lists but I don't see them. As an example Ring magazine (which you lot hold gospel when it suits) rated the best fighters alive and Hagler rated I believe 4 or 5 and Mayweather 7 or 8. That's polling around 30 historians. People whom off the top of their heads already know that Duran dropped down to fight Hearns after challenging Hagler.
he had wars with multiple fighers and took L's prior to fighting hagler. You guys need to start applying the same rules you guy have for the fighters you hate.....fact is hearns wasn't prime(smaller) and was knocked out before, leonard was coming off a 3 year layoff with a ****ed eye, and duran was a career lw who'd been beaten multiple times at a lighter weight. Face facts! Hagler doesn't have 1 prime atg on his resume!

        Duran:
Estaban de Jesus, ken Buchanan, laing and leonard 2x(one in which he quitlike a *****) and these are all at when he was at a lighter weight. Not when he was a fat and past prime when Hagler fought him.

August 8th, 2016. Do you really believe McGregor lifted Floyd that many places and your out here saying the Hearns win meant nothing. GTFOH.
Oh so now the ring is a legit source....foh. I see your agenda.

Leonard I was a war, but the others were not. Not close especially the DeJesus, Buchanan fights they were one-sided whippings. Laing not remotely same with Leonard II.

            Hearn's multiple wars?

No, I made that point that you will cite it as gospel and made a claim that not one credible source could come to the conclusion that Hagler is better than Mayweather.

The ring is a source, but it's not the be all end all. You just asked for one source I provided it.

He lost those fights i saw them and the were wars.....and he was shopworn when he got to hagler.....not to mention fat and way outta his natural weight class. Hearns was broken and beaten down....leonard tiok his soul....hagler fought him when he was ripe.

The same Duran who went on to win 154 title in the fight immediately prior and won the 160 lineal title AFTER? Sure, he was at his best at lightweight but Duran's "bum" years are still better than anything Floyd has fought.

Fighters aren't identical. Just because Diego Corrales was prime doesn't make him automatically better than 1983's Duran or 1985's Hearns. Just because Deontay Wilder is prime now doesn't make him better than past his prime 1974 Muhammad Ali. See how ridiculous it sounds?

Also, Mayweather has no ATG on his resume. Well, two great fighters but both past it and woefully undersized at the weights and not on Duran or Hearns level.

When did i ever cite the ring as a source to claim floyd was greater than hagler? You ****ted* all over the ring ranking......now you should as a source.....thats bs.

i don't care what they did after....the point was that hagler never fought a prime atg....period.
