How good is Andre Ward in an all time sense?

Nah, I got Ward winning that fight. I say Ward is an ATG that can compete with a Prime Roy Jones Jr. & Bernard Hopkins. I would love to see that fantasy match up.

Ward has not been the same fighter since his knee injury at the age 31. Still really good but has not able to reach legendary status with the limited mobility.

GOAT at 168. No question about that. Don't think he's rated at 175 obviously. First fight with Kovy was too close (honestly could go either way) and Kovy made it clear in 2nd fight that Ward was not unbeatable. Ward was being marked up and probably behind (or even) on most cards despite finishing the fight. Imagine what a Prime RJJ would've done to Ward - absolute massacre

Ward won the 2nd fight, obviously, but it was close. Yes it looked like Ward had it in the bag from the 7th on (when Kovy turned his back to Ward and kept looking to ref), but Kovy was AHEAD on official scorecards at the time of the stoppage.

First fight was a coin flip like Mayweather JLC1 or Canelo Lara. No matter how many times you watch it it's still difficult to pick a clear winner. And the first fight was exactly that mostly b/c of the KD

not very high at all and im not saying that as a 'hater'. lets look at his major wins: kessler- he clinched him 88 times and 5 headbutts. froch- won by 1 round, very close fight but it was a legitimate win. kovalev 1- vast majority thought he lost. kovalev 2- ended by repeated low blows, fight was up for grabs at that point. When you line the names up on his CV it sounds good but when you dissect the circumstances of these wins then its not so good. Hes a p4p level fighter, but all time great, hell no. Not remotely close, absolutely light years behind someone like mayweather.

What's funny is that you would think joke calslappy is an ATG or lil g is an ATG but not Ward? Like it or not Ward is on that ladder for greatness & would WHOOP lil g & Joke calslappy.

I actually he's miles above Oscar skill wise. Never saw Oscar as a terribly skilled fighter.
