You make it sound like Brook was forced into the fight, he wasn't. In fact he wasn't even first or second choice options for GGG.

You make it sound like GGG was forced to take it.

Floyd won four linear titles and beat the best at 130, 135, 147 and 154. Try again.

His team had time frames in which they planned to fight. His first and second options both dropped out, leaving him with little time to make a fight. Why wouldn't he take the fight? Fighting in Britain for the first time against one of the top British fighters makes sense financially and Brook would have been an awful lot better than the potential middleweight bums GGG might of ended up fighting last minute. Or did you want to see him against another Wade?

He fought a welterweight dude. There was no attempt to reach out to DeGale, who would've been an actual challenge, as well as being more popular in the UK. There's a pattern here.

Margarito got KTFO by Mosley, remember? Then Mosley got battered by Floyd.

The Margarito that Mosley beat was far more accomplished and higher ranked than any other version. So what do you mean by timing? When he was ranked p4p and coming off the biggest win of his career, he was treated like a heavy bag against Mosley. Mosley was considered the lineal, #1 WW when Floyd beat him. Don't pretend as if you don't know it.
