Damn, worse than a Mighty Mouse PPV.

        Now that's saying something.

What did everyone expect? Bob had anticipated losing money on this fight because HBO is trying to save money in their budget by passing on it, so the card was inevitably doomed to fail.

That's what's wrong with the sport... How is that card too expensive, when those types of cards happened all the time under don King.. The last notable ones were in the early 2000s.

            Hopkins-joppy mw title
            Mayorga-Spinks ww title
            Ruiz-Rahman heavy title
            Zab Judah

Or when he had the 4 heavyweight fights
            Ruiz-Golata
            Byrd-mccline
            Rahman-Meehan
            Holyfield-Donald..

Now boxing is struggling with money and popularity, we can't get decent cards

It should not have been a PPV in the first place, but that's the only way the fight would happen. Crawford wanted too much money for the fight.

And how many posts have I seen by you mocking and crowing about GGG's PPV being a flop and a failure?

With that being said, its a reasonable guess lol
Oh how wrong you are. Rick Glaser is the go to man for everything boxing. Arum, Haymon, Hearn, Oscar etc all go to him for his wisdom and advice. Glaser is the nuts and bolts of the entire industry. He found Haymons investors for him. People claim it is the shadowy Haymon who runs the sport, but it is the shadowy Glaser who truly runs the sport.

He is the only person in this world who does not need thug life glasses, he has them built in.
