HBO is killing themselves...boxing will never die.
No the sport will not die but It Is on life support right now and PPV cards like we seen this past weekend will Insure that It stays there. It Is unfortunate that the biggest fight In boxing right now just happens to be one of the worst fights of 2015. The fact of the matter Is that HBO has the right to decline any fight that they choose and the fans had a right to let Arum know that Crawford Vs Postol was an unacceptable PPV and they did.

Walters didn't want to fight Loma at 126, then he lost his title on scales because he's not a featherweight and was to "move up" (cut less weight)

All you **** heads cry about Lomachenko not moving up to fight Walters.
Lomachenko moves up to 130lbs to fight Walters and all of a sudden the money is a problem for Walters lol.
Now you are still talking dumb ****.

That fight didn't happen because Nicholas Walters DOES. NOT. WANT. IT.

Lomachenko fought Roman Martinez at 130 because Roman Martinez wanted that fight. Do you see how this works?

Walters was offered 450k for Loma, Lomachenko vs Walters is a glamour fight, at least offer 800k to Loma and 650k to Walters. Can't have it both ways.

Guess we will continue to have a difference In opinion. I would also bet that the majority that have been following the sport for any length of time would also agree that the sport Is not thriving like It once did. The biggest fight In the history of the sport didn't do It any favors.

The vast majority of PPVs are what you're seeing now.
yeah those ATGs were in the closed circuit area not the ppv area, at least not till the tail end of their careers

Now boxing is struggling with money and popularity, we can't get decent cards
I agree we need better cards but I honestly enjoyed the Benavidez Santana fight and thought Valdez Rueda would have been more competitive. I did think Olesakndr Gvozdyk would just blow through Karpency but that fight ended up being a little more competitive that I thought

You're thinking of boxing in USA. Bellew vs Mabaku drew 30k on a Sunday, China is putting boxing on it's State TV and fights will get over 10 million viewers in Mexico. I think boxing is having growing pains.
