Still more credible then Glaser who actually said he comes up with his figures based on how many people he see's on facebook talking about the fight. No lie that's what that clown said to defend his numbers. Dude is not even plugged in with any of the boxing promoters, networks, cable/satelite providers. He's literally just making his numbers up.

Which one of these fighters did half a million or more PPV buys without May or Pac?

There are rumours that Canelo/Khan did 600k but the only people who believe that are GBP. Chavez Jr best numbers were what, 470k? When May and Pac did 400-500k numbers they were regarded as let downs. So let's be real here.

Serious PPV numbers, 500-1+ million buys belong to a handful of fighters and even if you want to add in Cotto and Canelo, thats still only 8 fighters in the entire history of the sport and PPV itself.

So, we come back to what typical PPV numbers are and that's what TC v Postol did.

True. Getting the numbers from HBO is credible. They are a publicly traded company (Time Warner) and can't lie about numbers to investors.

Seems about in line with expectations, the fight got made it went off and a little money was made without it hampering HBO budgets with an important yet fight that was always going to be kind of lackluster. That sounds like success.

Not a way to build an audience but PPV can work in spots like this to get some things done.

Probably what was expected. Both guys aren't well known to casuals.

You look at the guys doing the big numbers and they have retired, or are close to retiring. Everyone looks towards the numbers Floyd and Manny would do as a measuring stick, but no one is going to do big numbers any time soon.

Terrible numbers if true. Got to be one of the worse HBO PPV sales ever. Golovkin been taking all the HBO cash to fight bums so it had to be PPV.

                      Another shameless poster

How many times did you brag about GGG's 97k number? it's only getting worse for you.
