Saunders didn't win a belt until after the offer from Ward and after Canelo beat Cotto. So you're telling me they're psychic too?

The knew that the Canelo fight would never happen.

Canelo wanted 155, and they knew it was a show stopper.

      THEY KNEW !!

They totally refused to negotiate with Canelo on the weight, despite knowing that it would kill the fight.

They got EXACTLY what they wanted.

      Fkn lame !

And they did the exact same thing to Ward, they demanded a weight they knew would kill the fight...... which is the THE EXACT OPPOSITE to what they promised for the last 4/5 years LMAO

It was hard to tell what you were whining about now, totally disconnected from the lunatic raving you were replying to. Right, Lee was the Wbo champ, he's one of the few that seems to want to fight the Man. Still he's tripled his belt count in last 12 months

No, the offer was for sometime in the first half of 2016.

Over the last few weeks, a lot has been said and a lot has been written with respect to a potential fight between WBA/IBO middleweight champion Gennady "GGG" Golovkin (33-0, 30KOs) and WBA super middleweight king Andre Ward (28-0, 15KOs). As the finishing touches were being made to Golovkin's October 17th unification with IBF champion David Lemieux - Ward's promoter, Roc Nation Sports Chief Operating Officer David Itskowitch, emailed an official offer to Golovkin's promoter, Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions.

that he and Andre would both have one fight before they fought each other, and they would fight each other sometime in the first half of 2016.

I know while you're not sucking off Golovkin, you like to hide behind your troll facade, but why do you keep on repeating this lie?

              They are completely bluff'n'bull****.

If they wanted that fight, Golovkin would have backed up his big mouth and negotiated with Canelo on the weight.
SMH... The pretty much said they knew the coward Mexican wouldn't fight. Anyone talking about fighting at 155 for a 160 belt, is FOS!!! The coward been fighting blown up WW. GGG called his bluff and didn't move down to a made up weight class. GGG had all the leverage. Coward was either going to fight him at 160 or put his tail between legs and hand GGG his belts. Straight coward move. Talked all that bs after he KO'd a WW khan(Which he was losing and getting schooled). Its funny GGG fight Mexican style but Canelo is the coward Mexican who didn't want to PROVE he's the top MW. Straight sucker move.

This pretty much. Not that we didn't already know.

Always funny seeing these same clowns trash a 164 CW but defend a FKN 155 CW.

Do you guys understand the purpose of a CW?

It isn't to drain a champ to the LOWEST POSSIBLE WEIGHT of a division to try and gain some sort of advantage. It's to meet somewhere in the MIDDLE.

Hold on, that's not what it said at all. Not expecting something does not equate to not wanting it.

As pointed out by other posters one could use this to claim that GGG wasn't interested in the Ward fight, but then we knew that already.

So many boxing fans suggested that Alvarez would vacated rather than fight at 160. They said that as the draw Alvarez would be smart to force the fight on his terms. Those same fans were trash talked by many Golovkin fans. Now it turns out that behind all of the talk, K2 believed that Alvarez and GBP would do just that. It doesn't mean that these boxing fans support catchweight fights or even Caneloweight. It just means that if you follow the sport, you recognize that fear and pride don't run boxing....money, legacy, and timing do. And no...you can't separate the three.
