There is no way HBO lets the Kov Ward winner, and even the loser get away. There is always a potential rematch plus that division is too important for them. Almost all of their promoters have at least one fighter in the division. Shabranskky is on the way up with GBP, Main Events still has Barrera in the mix, Pascal will still get a significant fight, maybe against one of them, plus Top Rank has the gold and bronze medalists in Egor Mehmetev or however you spell it and Gvodzyk plus at 168 you have guys like Zurdo Ramirez and Jesse Hart who could be moving up in the future. I think Jason Quigley is at this weight too.

money talks and I don't think that HBO is willing to commit the $3m per fight to keep Ward for 3 fights per year; HBO seems to have Kathy Duva by the short hairs, so she's likely more willing to continue to keep kovalev there on short money. Showtime, when they want a fight, have shown that they'll lay out the money.

nah Stevenson has one cash out fight then hes about done. Haymon just doesn't have the 175 lbers. No one cares about Alvarez. Fonfara just got blown out. Smith isn't with PBC and can go fight on HBO right now. Show has Beterbiev who isn't big yet but on his way and Degale if he beats Jack and then moves up. That is about it. HBO has the kovalev rematch, Pascal can still fight ward after a tune up, the olympic gold and bronze medalists egor mehmetovev and alex gvodzyk with top rank, shabranskky who is on par with beterbiev, yuniesky gonzalez, barrera etc.

hbo has the same access to sauerlands example, why does zurdo ramirez have arthur abrahams belt so they can get braehmer, also access to joe smith jr (same promoter as yuniesky gonzalez),shabranskyy, bhop, the rematch, eric skoglund who is fighting ward next, any of hearns guys, seanie monaghan, jesse hart etc.

His minimum was $32 mil and the rest came from his co-promotion. Everybody knows that. Once again. You keep saying I'm wrong but you won't post anything to prove I'm wrong. If I'm wrong I'll admit it. But I need some proof. So far you have nothing but speculation. Did Main Events get paid yes. They get a percentage. What was the percentage? Who paid them? How much total did they get? You claimed it was $600,000 but you've yet to show me any proof of that number. I really don' t see the point of continuing this conversation if you have nothing to back up your claims.
