But, the world wants Canelo to fight this guy next. Also, if you know anything about math, canelo's last ppv lost money domestically.
No it didn't!!! They did over 600,000 ppv sales??? Plus around 17,000 in attendance for a fight where the cheapest ticket was over $150 and not $25. And it made over $30 million. And another $7.5 million in attendance sales. If that's losing money then boxing is in REAL trouble! You need to recheck your math because your wrong...

They did very well considering who he fought. I thought Khan had a bigger following then this??? Or at least that what he thinks? It was almost 90% Hispanics that bought tickets or ppv. Not bad at all...

I'm pretty sure we already know Canelo's intentions: Never fighting Golovkin. Contrary to what he said after knocking out a chinny junior welter.

You just saw Charlo vs. Trout, with J-Rock fighting the winner. You just saw Charlo vs. Jackson, with Hatley waiting on the winner. You just saw Andrade vs. Nelson, and Lara vs. Martyrosin, all in the last what..30 days? Calm down Dunn!
Like those fights were in terms of quality and difficulties to make close to Canelo vs GGG, Ward vs GGG or Loma vs Walters.

Jackson, Martyrosian, Nelson and J-Rock are "friday nights" domestic level US fighters.

Except Andrade, Lara and big Charlo, 154 ain't that good.

We'll see. If that division is not "that good" please tell me which divisions are better.

Slow as.s Wade landed a FOUR punch combo on that bum.
Wade couldn't lay a glove on 40+ y/o Sam Soliman.
So you're saying your analogy was misplaced but you chose to post it anyway. Figures, pathetic alt

If canelo goes to 154 he's a ***** simple as. Lara chats c.rap about GG he should move up and get body bagged. Andrade is the only solid solid fighter there. The Charlo bros aren't that impressive.
                Pretty much obvious, great post.

If Canelo can still make 154 without killing himself he probably beats everybody in that division.

He won't beat Golovkin though, unless weighing in at 160 gives him some extra pop in his punches. Unfortunately, he doesn't seem to want to give it a try.

Better division, huh? But who is great at 154?

Depending if we count Cotto and Nelo at 154, last time I checked they fought "above".

That's maybe the most "interesting" division, pretty much different.

Cruiserweights are even more interesting IMO, and I would say many divisions, like light heavyweights, have a better top 4 of champions (Hopkins, Stevenson, Ward, Kovalev)

In that SWW division you have Andrade who is a VERY solid fighter, then Lara, big Charlo is OK on the worldscene.

Trout was good but is over the "hill" now.

The rest are US domestic level fighters, so called "slick" average champions and contenders.

Everytime a division if full of US fighters in the top 10, the division is overhyped and so automatically overrated.

Except Andrade, they would all end up beaten if they moved up to 160 to a title shot.

Even the weakest titilist Jacobs would crack most of those "so called good" guys you listed.

Don't get me wrong, I'm hyped about 154 but they barely have one guy on my and most P4P top 20 so how I could call it the best division in the sport?

bigger charlo, andrade, and lara are good fighters. lara and andrade are much, much better fighters tahn bigger charlo.

smaller charlo is just famous because of his brother. that kid relaly isn't much to write home about. and his brother's potency comes from his size. that's a big, big JMW. so is andrade. those guys are big. willie nelson was f#cking enormous

then you've got little charlo, austin trout, a very old miguel cotto [who trout beat soundly,]

the division isn't that good, paulie. but they do all fight on the network that employs you.

now, to the golovkin detractors, these are the good fights that you want to see golovkin take, right?
why aren't you ripping these kids, two of whom are probably bigger than golovkin, to move up?
well ya networks are always going to prop up the weight classes they control but that doesnt mean hes wrong its a way better weight class then 160 is
