He didn't gas, Mcgregor landed the harder shots in round one but don't act like Diaz wasn't landing the jab. Round 2, Diaz caught him with a left and Mcgregor never recovered.

What the hell are you talking about? Diaz is more skilled than Mcgregor, not as athletically gifted but more skilled.

Not calling anybody a HYPE, I'm still a huge McGregor fan but I do think media people and PRIDEFUL FANS Crown guys too early

He beat one of the longest standing champions in the UFC. He beat 5 or 6 guys in route to that fight & this is 5 or 6 increasingly better guys not like 5 or 6 random bums & fringe contenders like you can do in boxing pre-title shot. He wasn't crowned too early. Sometimes guys just lose in a competitive sport. It don't gotta be that serious.

Mcgregor was fighting a 155lb fighter at 170lb, so it'd be like Mayweather fighting Lara at 160-168. Except Diaz wasn't as highly rated as Lara.

That's the thing about MMA, no one is safe. It's so easy to lose. No hype train lasts. It's crazy how fast it all came crashing down. Connor got way too over confident after the first round. He got caught and gassed IMMEDIATELY. When he took Diaz down I said wtf. They will fight again and we will see what Connor is really made of because he fought a really dumb fight.

More disappointed Holm let Tate get her so late in the fight. I was really impressed with Holly up until then.

i don't follow ufc so maybe is that why to me it looks like this guy came outta nowhere. but seriously, dude hasn't accomplished **** and talks about floyd, a guy who's been fighting for 20 years, you might like him or not, but you can't denied his greatness in the ring. i know, it was just for publicity, but he isn't being mocked by floyd's fans only like hypejob says. every real boxing fan is mocking this dude.

He looked noticeably gassed before Diaz landed anything remotely decent.

A minute before Diaz landed the good right hand, McGregor threw a 3 punches combination that was slow and had nothing on it, he gassed.

Diaz took the big shots, fought through the blood and, as always, his stamina was first class. A good chin and engine can take you a long way.

Looks fine not gassed, until he gets caught with the left.

For those saying the UFC is in big trouble are delusional... The UFC has never suffered after one of their stars lost. Chuck Liddell was getting KOed left and right and they still managed to put up numbers. When Lesnar lost, there recovered. It's back to business as usual for them. they can create stars whenever they feel like it because they have complete control over the game.
