Thsi is good in a way, i don't think fans understand if he won there was talks of him going to fight Lawler at UFC 200. He would have been brutally KO'd by the 170lb Champ. I like his ambition but he looks big at FW but Small against LW's and WW's. Hes just gonna have to cut down now.

I can not imagine any scenario where a guy who has seen better days gets 11 days notice to fight the #1 P4P fighter in the world, and wins in boxing.

It's a bad look for MMA, but Jon Jones is really their best fighter.

well don't forget in boxing their are promoters that usually don't want their fighters taking big risks like that, although it still happens (pac vs dlh for example, etc). The UFC is literally all of these guys one promoter so its obviously different. If Top Rank promoted all of boxing (the ones that matter anyway) they wouldn't give a crap either.

Thats a good point as well. There are times I really like the structure of the UFC but I see problems with it as well, one being Tate's laughable $46k purse if thats actually what it was.

Mcgregor didn't fight a 170lb fighter, he fought a 155lb at 170 because the 155lb had only 10 days notice so couldn't make weight. Stop exaggerating the size difference.

I'm a little jaded when it comes to trash talk, but i'm really enjoying their recent exchanges. Jones is not hype, while Conor is a gutsy dude but his resume was a little smoke and mirrors.
