He did not look fine, he was clearly tired.Looks fine not gassed, until he gets caught with the left.

The moment he threw that combination coming out of the clinch I said to the people I was watching it with that he looked zapped.
He was picking Diaz apart then everything slowed noticeably; his punches along with his body and head movement. Stamina in itself is earned through hard work and Diaz made it count.Comment

Yep. Agreed. Crazy how quick some people on here are already calling for an MMA obituary. For those saying the UFC is in big trouble are delusional... The UFC has never suffered after one of their stars lost. Chuck Liddell was getting KOed left and right and they still managed to put up numbers. When Lesnar lost, there recovered. It's back to business as usual for them. they can create stars whenever they feel like it because they have complete control over the game.Comment

Let me break this down for you a tad smart guy. We already established the 25 pound expanse...but you used Conor as a 155 pound fight. Adding 25 pounds to that would be 180. Now I'm not going to call out your math skills (or lack thereof) but I will need you to do just a tad of research before you comment. What weight did Connor fight at last? If you knew the answer to that question, you would know 155 would be Connor moving up. But your knowledge is lacking...let's say FACTS...breathe in the ether you loser. Accept it .Comment

Ok wtf are you even trying to say now? THIS fight was supposed to be at 155, Conor is Brandon rios drained when he was at 145. He walks around at 170+ weighed in at 168.. But yet these excuses are being made when Diaz last fight was at 155Let me break this down for you a tad smart guy. So when the media asks Floyd about UFC, "Hey he's just giving an opinion. Floyd's clever".
But when the media asks UFC about Floyd, suddenly all responses aren't opinions, they're desperate for relevancy? Should they have just said "no comment"? Naah then dudes like you would just pull out things like "They ain't sayin' nothin' 'cuz they scared of Floyd". Haters gonna hate I guess.Comment

Conor is a 145 lb. fight that was moving to 155 to fight the champ. The champ got injured and withdrew.Let me break this down for you a tad smart guy. Diaz is a 155 lb. fighter that was out of shape in between camps. UFC needed a guy with a name and came begging on their knees. They did it at 170 because that is how unprepared Diaz was.
Still a brutal trashing for the guy that was not prepared. Twist it any way you want.Comment

Hate to have to call you on this because you're usually on-point but they certainly did suffer after Lesnar and it took a while for the numbers to rebound. I know this very well because I have long watched their growth and numbers. There were several articles about the financial affects of him losing in the subsequent years and they just started to rebound in 2014 and strongly in 2015.For those saying the UFC is in big trouble are delusional... Regarding those how claim this was a matter of Connor having to jump 2 weight classes, you have it wrong. His own coach said recently that he may not be able to make 145 anymore. Diaz is a 155lb fighter who got ****d at 170. Diaz was also NOT in fight-shape. Marathon training does not get you in shape for grappling. To top it off, MacGreggor is the one who chose to make the fight at 170. He said it himself.Comment
