i don't follow ufc so maybe is that why to me it looks like this guy came outta nowhere. but seriously, dude hasn't accomplished **** and talks about floyd, a guy who's been fighting for 20 years, you might like him or not, but you can't denied his greatness in the ring. i know, it was just for publicity, but he isn't being mocked by floyd's fans only like hypejob says. every real boxing fan is mocking this dude.

Up until last July he was still a prospect, then he beats a fighter on short notice and then KOs the champion with the first punch landed in that fight. So what happened tonight shouldn't have been such a shock. Just another bloated UFC hype machine.

For those saying the UFC is in big trouble are delusional... The UFC has never suffered after one of their stars lost. Chuck Liddell was getting KOed left and right and they still managed to put up numbers. When Lesnar lost, there recovered. It's back to business as usual for them. they can create stars whenever they feel like it because they have complete control over the game.

That's the thing about MMA, no one is safe. It's so easy to lose. No hype train lasts. It's crazy how fast it all came crashing down. Connor got way too over confident after the first round. He got caught and gassed IMMEDIATELY. When he took Diaz down I said wtf. They will fight again and we will see what Connor is really made of because he fought a really dumb fight.

More disappointed Holm let Tate get her so late in the fight. I was really impressed with Holly up until then.

lol yeah hurt me to see Holm lose when she just needed to dance her way to the scorecards imo. She definitely lost round 2, 3 was close (thought Holm won it) but 1,4 were hers and she was winning the fifth too. She was clearly stronger and brushed off almost all of Tate's takedown attempts while landing shots that seemed to bother her throughout the fight. And then she kinda gave up her neck and got slept.

He didn't gas he looked fine until he got caught with the left at 4:43. He was hurt not gassed.

Mcgregor was fighting a 155lb fighter at 170lb, so it'd be like Mayweather fighting Lara at 160-168. Except Diaz wasn't as highly rated as Lara.

Not really, seeing as that McGregor cuts a **** ton of weight to get down to 145, and Nate Diaz barely makes a cut down to 155.

Walking around, simply lounging and not in camp for a fight, I'd even be willing to bet that McGregor is the heavier guy.

It'd likely be more like matching Floyd Mayweather Jr (fights at 147, though likely walked around in the low 150s) against Terrence Crawford (fights at 140, though likely walks around in the high 150s/low 160s)
