If McGregor had stuck with boxing, he may have had some success.

Your stance and distance control is different in MMA.

You must be able to see the difference.

If McGregor had boxed for the last 10 years instead of kickboxing/bjj, he would have a much tighter game and be a much more instinctive boxer. He still has good timing.

Pretty hard to call a world-class athlete with great skills a bum.
