Of course. But that shouldn't mean he should have to give into the demands of Canelo who weighs in as a LHW on fight night.

Oscar, Canelo and The WBC should be crucified if they allow this to happen. Hopefully, the WBC will enforce their rules though.

At least Canelo isn't trying to make fights at 160 while asking for a catchweight only for Lil G, that REALLY would be a ***** move.

Yes, but my point is, he shouldn't have to.

Look, if I had the time, I could literally list you examples of 100 fighters who made concessions to make big fights. But non of the circumstances would have been the same.

Asking a fighter to make concessions and achieve greatness is not crazy.

But asking a fellow MW champ to drop weight to fight for the lineal title is crazy, especially considering the guy who wants the 155 CW has weighed in before at 172.

He doesn't have to do anything. He can sit on his ass and fight the Dominic Wade's of the world. But if he wants a big fight, he'll have to make some sacrifices. He's not a superstar, he doesn't have a sterling resume. But he is acting like a diva.

              How old are you?

Are we in the playground here?

              A GG nut hugger?

              You clown!

I'm no hugger, I'm a fan of BOXING!

              What excuse?

              What are you talking about?

A traditional CW was to make a fight that couldn't have happened naturally.

Why do you want to see a MW unification fought at a CW, when the guy who's demanding a CW, weighs in as a LHW?

                What a load of nonsense.

You can't just list examples of fighters who made concessions and took risks.

                The circumstances are different.

                You can't justify it.

GG will probably take risks and move up at some point after he's unified the MW division.

It's unbelievable that Canelo isn't being ripped, considering he can weigh more than GG does on fight night at MW, when he fights as a JMW.

                It's scandalous.
He refused to move up to fight Ward also, it wasn't just moving down a few lbs that was rejected...this after saying himself that he'd fight anyone from 154-168.

Mayweather moved up and down divisions. Pacquiao moved up and down. Canelo has moved down.

The fact is, Canelo is 1lb above JMW and if he wasn't the A-side (which has become a big thing these days) he'd make 154. He doesn't need to seek mega fights as he's a star attraction and all his fights are big...Golovkin is the guy searching for a big name opponent at age 33, yet is unwilling to move up or down.

The only problem I have with Canelo is the title he's holding. I don't think there's any reason for him to have a MW belt.

It's a bit*h move but what can you do?
As fans, we can't really do anything.

But they want calling out on it.

Why shouldn't he? Lol. Who is he again? Is he a bigger name than Canelo? Has he fought better opposition? Ok then.
