Ward has that ability to adjust that makes him one of the top talents in his sport. If something isn't working, he will just try something else until he figures you out and wins the bout.

Ward's a great ring technician, but when has he ever fought anyone like GGG or Kovalev? Who are the closest comps on his resume?

All fighters/trainers seem to say that Ward beats Golovkin, most say easy.

Not only is he better than GGG at EVERYTHING, he's bigger/stronger/faster.

It is similar to Mayweather/Pacquiao in that Gennady doesn't even have a punchers chance in my book..... he doesn't one-punch anyone..... what the fk is he going to do with Ward, get lucky all night?

Ward has more than enough power to keep Golovkin honest, that fight would be a boxing match from round 1, just like it was with Mayweather/Pacquiao..... with Golovkin getting touched up and broken down, most likely to a wide UD or late TKO.

There is a very good reason why they turned down that fight.

you keep on lying and i'll keep on exposing you and your liar agenda. it was ward who turned down the fight, then it was ward who tried to get ggg to lock in a 50-50 split before ggg even fought canelo on a huge ppv. aka a joke offer since ggg is way more popular than ward right now and after he beats canelo? forget about it yet he would still have to give ward a 50-50 split lol. biggest joke i've ever seen. its like floyd locking in a 50-50 split with spinks before even figthing oscar. use your brain please. don't just be a follower/fanboy

Everything you say? GGG uses the ring better IMO and has a lot more power.

As to the second red. GGG doesn't one punch anyone. But he usually rocks the hell out of someone then goes kill. You think he can't do that to Ward? Who has Ward ever faced with GGG's power+ability?

You're the liar. It was Ward who raised his hand and said he'd be willing to fight Golovkin when Team GGG said no one wanted to.

And it was Team GGG who hemmed, hawed, and ducked Ward. Claiming he didn't make financial sense. Or that he wasn't a priority. Or that he wasn't relevant.

They had a bag full of excuses.

I said that Ward is MUCH better, hands down.

the poster that I replied to tried to indicate that Kova/GGG/Ward, were all on the same level skill-wise..... but they simple are not.
yeah but i disagree, Ward isn't much better. He is bigger, if he was the same size as Golovkin, same reach same hight and same division he will not be favored vs. Golovkin.

Ward fought and beat everyone in his division, and there is a perception out there that Ward is God... or the Son of God lol but really he only beat people who he is similarly sized with.

Golovkin also beat everyone he fought and he looked better doing it, and he beat people in his own division. Name recognition is better at 168, Froch is better known then murray, Kessler is better known then Geale, Abraham is better known then lemiux, but who did these guys beat? they only beat other 168 lbs, some did beat bigger guys (but not at bigger divisions), even though resume isn't in question here the main reason Ward is considered better is because people refer to his accomplishments of winning the super 6.

However i did watch Ward and i did watch Golovkin and as far as skill set i favor Golovkin. Golovkin can fight like ward (but he can't afford to as he needs to build his fan base), but ward will never be able to fight like Golovkin. The reason why i posted the link to the video is to illustrate how hard it is to hit GGG, and yes we all go back to the Monro fight but even for all his speed he barely landed on GGG.

Anyways they are all elite fighters with high level of skill, can't say one is much more skilled then another.

BULL****, I shouldn't even respond to that dribble.

Team Golovkin talked utter ****, and then laid an egg when it came to signing the Ward fight.

The fight was first discussed when Ward was inactive/injured. HBO asked Ward if he was ready NOW..... he said no, I have been inactive, I need a tuneup.

Then IMMEDIATELY after the Smith fight Ward contacted team Golovkin..... who then proceeded to use every excuse in the book, topped off with a 164lb catchweight demand.

EVERYONE said at the time, that the catchweight demand really means that Golovkin wants nothing to do with Ward.

Then, RN approached K2 and their offer was refused in "25 minutes flat"..... meaning that they did not even read it, it was never considered.

You guys need to smarten up, even Kellerman knows......

Kellerman just spoke common-sense, no executive insider knowledge was required for Max to come to that common-sense conclusion.

And did you pick up on the comparision with Ward/GGG, with GGG/Canelo?

Canelo does not want to fight Golovkin, for the EXACT same reason that Golovkin does not want to fight Ward.

It is obvious, and it is boxing.

So, why all that coward/ducker/fraud/fake fanboy crap ?

You guys all call Canelo a coward/ducker blah blah..... but check out breadman's take on the subject of Canelo..... it mirrors Kellerman's.
The Daily Bread Mailbag returns with Stephen "Breadman" Edwards giving his thoughts on various topics such as Felix Verdejo, Saul 'Canelo' Alvarez vs. Gennady Golovkin, Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao and more.

Grow up and hold Golovkin responsible for his words/actions.

I truly don't know what you think you're watching.

Come on man, Ward is ELITE..... Golovkin aint landing on Ward.

Ward is likely the most well-rounded fighter in the game today.

Power is waaay over-rated, especially by casual fans..... Ward has been in there with plenty of tough 168lb'ers and he has sparred plenty of heavyweights.

Abraham was knocking every fool out, then he moved to 168, fought Ward, and got blitzed.

His power meant absolutely nothing to Ward.

Casual fans said AAAAAALL that same **** about Pacquiao/Mayweather.
