Kovalev is the only one that would trouble Ward GGG hasn't been tested yet so I don't know why he keeps coming up

The question becomes how Golovkin handles it - if he gets flummoxed or starts complaining to the ref, he'll lose the composure and the fight. If he stays calm or better yet, returns the dirt back to Ward, I think he wins.
yes he is smart enough. he just doesn't fight outside his comfort zone. for example having the super six setup in his favor, turning down fights in other places, turning down fights where he was the b-side. this is all calculated. when you have wards style you can't take a chance that your cheating tactics will be removed from you because he relies on it so heavily.

          The fighters/trainers know whats up.

Ward would negate their power with his style, like most have been saying.

Tom Loeffler, HBO, and the K2 matchmakers..... were correct in avoiding Andre Ward, and I don't really have a problem with it, because I understand why.

It is the lies that I have a problem with, particularly from Sanchez, because as Ward stated, casual fans are gullible and they lap that **** up.

Knowledgeable insiders know what Ward would have done to Golovkin, and he will be the favorite against Kovalev as well.

Ward wouldn't have as much issue with GGG, just based off the fact Ward would have all the physical advantages... While Golovkin would maybe have more speed, power but not strength, size, or reach. A tough fight but a fight Ward could win easily. Kovalev on the other hand would be a war!

Neither of those fights will be a war.

They will both be a boxing match, because of Ward's style.

JUST like how May/Pac was always going to be a boxing match.

Golovkin AND Kovalev will need to have more skill than Ward, they will have to beat him in a boxing match, no question.

He will not fight to their strengths, because he doesn't need to.

And yep, Ward has more than enough "power" to keep Kovalev honest.

I have seen nothing whatsoever to indicate that, not a thing.

Ummm, Ward has proven that his skills are "off the charts", many times.

I don't see that same level of skill from Golovkin, nor from Kovalev.

Both are excellent, but even Canelo looks more skilled than Golovkin, and Kovalev used a very basic-but-effective gameplan against old-man Hopkins.

Thats how I see it, I don't even think Golovkin would be that competitive.

Ward beats him easy on the outside, and he beats him up on the inside.

But Kovalev is a different animal, Ward will need to stay on point.

Golovkin is very accurate and places his punches well but he isn't near as fast as Ward with his hands and feet
