Floyd's style completely owns them.

Now imagine how Hearns vs Floyd would have looked.
Two fighters who shared the ring with Ward and were Gennady sparing partners said they would favor GGG over Ward. However normally i would imagine that majority of the people would favor the very good big guy vs. the very good small guy.

I am hoping for Ward/Kovalev, and Golovkin/Canelo..... I think Ward/Kova will happen, not sure about GGG/Canelo..... but failing that I would love to see Gennady move to 168 when he has finished his business at 160.

If Paquio vs. Floyd was made i don't doubt that this fight can be made at 168 if GGG moves up and if Ward gets past Kovalev (i dont think he will though).

Also to avoid quoting another post of yours based on another poll on this website majority of posters favor Ward to beat ggg (i think its like 65/35... but can't remember exactly).

He doesn't seem to have the balls to face either of them. Wake me up when that clown fights someone with a pulse.

Kovalev is simple, patient and effective. He's a real puzzle but Ward will figure him out and box his way to a decision. GGG is too small, Ward will cream him.

Not only is he better than GGG at EVERYTHING, he's bigger/stronger/faster.

It is similar to Mayweather/Pacquiao in that Gennady doesn't even have a punchers chance in my book..... he doesn't one-punch anyone..... what the fk is he going to do with Ward, get lucky all night?

Ward has more than enough power to keep Golovkin honest, that fight would be a boxing match from round 1, just like it was with Mayweather/Pacquiao..... with Golovkin getting touched up and broken down, most likely to a wide UD or late TKO.

There is a very good reason why they turned down that fight.
Yeah, it's called not wanting to jump up 8 pounds to fight a guy that had already outgrown 168.

Same reason why Ward refused to drop even 4 pounds to make the fight happen.

I wouldn't pay any heed to what posters are saying.

It is surprising to hear that Ward is favored, but I still wouldn't heed that.

The trainers/matchmakers know whats up, they are the ones to follow.

                chavez doe

About a month ago, Froch stated that he was too big and too strong for Golovkin..... he said that he had been working out, had put on some muscle, and most likely could only make 172..... but Loeffler still inquired about making a fight between him and Golovkin.

Btw, EVERYBODY can clearly see that Ward cannot make 164.

I know it, YOU know it, and Team Golovkin knew it as well

You really should stop mentioning that catchweight demand, that cannot reflect well on Gennady no matter how you spin it.

i remember this, it was during the Klitschko vs Fury telecast, it was when Loeffler and Froch were standing side by side and Froch was saying that he is too big, but Loeffler was very clear that they won't go past 168 as far as i recall. i also believe he mentioned that Golovkin is concentrating and unifying his division, so he stayed on point.

                      Fair point.

Actually you're right, he did say words to that effect.

But initially, Loeffler did inquire as to the possibility of that fight, indicating that they will still fight at 168 if/when it suits them.

                      Which is fair enough.

I just think that they should have never mentioned Ward if they had no intention of fighting him..... and they clearly had no intention of fighting him.

Ward is right, in that Team Golovkin hoodwinked the fans.

Listen to Ward's honesty at 1.38, when asked if considers himself #1 P4P.

And listen to Ward's honesty when asked about the criticism regarding his inactivity, etc.

This guy is being seriously slept on.

But only by guys who won't fight him
