smdh at prime toney pre prime hopkins being equal to past prime pacquiao, shane, and oscar.
you people have no shame whatsoever.
If you fight a guy thats prime and so are you its equal , if you fight a guy thats had 30 fights and so have you its pretty much equal , off course there is differences but the point Im making Floyd never belonged at 147 and above , his ability prime was 135 , at 135 Floyd would terrorize a 135 Toney .
We have no shame stating reality and you have no understanding of boxing to comprehend it beyond your fan hate .

Its like GGG hits guys harder at his weight than a HW does at his weight , if you could work out scientificly the percentage ratio you would find FW up LH hit harder for their weight than HWs , and about 3 times faster more often and so much better fitness and skills .

Oscar's last good win was in 2002. He was a washed up coming out of retirement coke head in 2007 when he fought Floyd. And Mosley was 39 years old and coming off a 16 month layoff.
You Floyd fanatics are hilarious.

Why do you care so much? There are quantitative & qualitative assessments of all forms of entertainment. From a quantitative standpoint, Floyd wins among most people who are being rational. From a qualitative standpoint, RJJ's career was tailor-made for a highlight reel.
You think people will sit their kids down 50 years from now, and show them tons of Floyd fights? (maybe if they're trying to get them to go to sleep).
Floyd's style as he moved up (and hurt his hands) was just boring to "the people" you're referring to. Floyd knew this, and created a WWE character for himself. "Those people" paid to see him lose, and HBO/SHO did a great job of marketing him as the anti-hero. Worked like a charm.
Conor McGregor is taking a page out of Floyd's out-of-ring playbook as we speak. Except, Conor's style in-ring is more RJJ than Floyd, so at 27 he's well on his way to making $100 million +
So that's pretty much it. Floyd's a boxer, not a fighter.
Many people prefer fighters over boxers. And it's why Floyd's final fight was a whimper. He'll fade over time. It's just preference. You shouldn't care so much.
