Why do posters say Roy jones Achieved more then Mayweather?

More title defenses 18 to roys 17



How can you look at the numbers and honestly say that?

Floyd has achieved more than Roy and its not even debatable. The numbers and revenue he generated will prove it. However, I would say Roy was the more naturally gifted fighter in his prime.

Floyd won titles in more weight classes, beat more world champions, and had greater longevity. But Roy at his peak was more exciting than Floyd at his peak.

well RJJ did win mostly every title from MW to HW... except cruiser....
plus RJJ didn't lose until his 51 st fight... he coulda retired 49-1 if he wanted to.

Roy never unified until he got to 175...floyd won every title from 130 to 154 and was lineal in 4 of those divisions aswell so thats not much of an argument
