And nobody is trying to make Floyd better , its about giving the guy his just dues for an outstanding career , the thread is about accomplishments and Floyd left Roy Jones for dead as far as accomplishments go .
yes and it's unprovable. The lower weight guy in reality can be more accomplished in his bracket but he can't be better than the bigger guy. Kovalev kills rigo in reality. You can say rigo is more accomplished but he's not better than him. Saying he's better p4p is irrelevant and not even real. Guys fighting in their respective divisions isn't p4p, that's the reality of boxing. For it to be sustainable there needs to be divisions or the smaller guys would get killed. Divisions allow us to see who is the best within a certain range. But that's where it ends. You guys are so stuck n boxing you don't see how ******ed what you're saying is.

Ok lets imagine for a second , lets say Rigo woke up today a LH and his entire skillset was intact and his speed and power all went with him in scale to LH .

Would Rigo be able to beat Kov , this is what I trying to point out , the differences in guys from the lower divisions as fighters , not weight just their abilities in a boxing ring . thats what P4P means .

To dumb it down more P4P means for every pound I have you have the same pound on your side , this is the idea behind all fighting with the aim to make a fair fight , the entire rule book of boxing is written around this premise .

sigh....and calzaghe was a ko artist as well right? there's a difference between being a ko artist, that's guys like kovalev and stevenson and getting a bunch of corner stoppages, which is what floyd did.

On his record, there's no such thing as corner stoppages. It's called TKO and is recorded as a KO.

Beating Donaire is more impressive than anything Kov has done so far , Rigo is a hell of a fighter its just a shame he is pigeon holed and not fan friendly , but god dam has he got some skills .

Mayweather was a champion at 21 and remained a champion until he retired at 38 with a brief retirement of about 18 months. He never lost a fight. Jones was great at his peak but he can't match Mayweather's longevity or his consistent excellence.
