Excellent point. Their library opening would be a godsend. I don't rewatch a lot of old fights but I would on trips if I had access like that.

Can't we just accept the fact that Haymon's plan, whether we know the intricacies or whether we like him or not, was good enough that it past the vetting process and got him almost $500 mil to execute said plan.
As it pertains to Haymon, the plan is nothing short of BRILLIANT. He pockets a 7 (or maybe 8) figure salary as Pres of PBC, and over-inflates purses, which he pockets another 15-20% of. If PBC ends up succeeding, he is potentially a billionaire. And if PBC flops, he still pockets probably $40 million or more when its all said and done. Complete and utter brilliance.

As for the Waddell-Reed guys, who knows how it plays out? Even if PBC flops, its only 1% of their assets under management, and would hardly register as much as a sliver on their performance pie chart. And if it works, they are geniuses.

And weight class like CW, SMW, and the lower classes have outside fighters.
I don't think HBO has a deal with Fury, Rigo, Walters or Postol as of now. Manny only has one fight left.

But having Canelo, GGG and Kov is great. Plus they owe wlad 1 more fight (I think) so they will have the fury/wlad rematch if it happens.

BTW, per their agreement, the network gets a portion of the purses. Kinda kills the over-inflate idea.

Just stop. It's embarrassing watching you, some dweeb poster, post about uncovering a grand scheme that is so obvious yet only posters realize it.

Yeah, this is kind of macro perspective I am talking about.

so then you feel that Lara-Rodriguez was worth $1million purse to Lara? If that isnt "over-inflating" Lara's market value, what exactly is it? Haymon may be alot of things, but ****** is not one of them. Was there a bidding war for Lara-Rodriguez that none of us knew about? If Laras purse was not over-inflated, then what was it? Because it certainly wasnt market-value.

I'd love to have you bestow your vastly superior knowledge on us simple folk........

Don't change the goalpost. Read your prior post about this brilliant scheme. It's basic as **** and any broker worth their salt could see it coming a mile away. And any network. Unless you think purses are being overinflated because ESPN wants a good cut too. Do you even comprehend that? The majority of fights on TV pay the fighters too much using your logic so what are you really saying? Are you done pretending to have figured out this mega secret plan by Haymon or you gonna keep up with this nonsense?

Haymons positioning here IS brilliant. If it succeeds, he wins big. If it flops, he still wins big. Whats so hard to understand? Does he want it to flop? I highly doubt it. But if you bothered to try and understand my post, instead of just automatically assuming something negative was said about ol uncle Al, you would understand that my post wasn't about his motives, or negative in any way. It was about his positioning. And say whatever you want, his positioning was brilliant.

Dont be so quick to trot out the Haymon Defense Shield. Al doesnt need it......

I don't either. I see all of a sudden this post doesn't involve pocketing large sums of money by overinflating purses anymore (as if overinflating purses began or ends with Haymon). Yeah, brilliant.
