well, he hasnt made 168 since 2013 and supposedly is in "serious talks" with HBO/Duva for a Kovalev fight, so yes, it would seem he is moving to 175.

So if he's moving up to 175 and ggg fights at 160. wouldn't it be fair to have them meet at 168 as that is a legit weight class that's in between both mw & lhw?

Those fights are meaningful because they advance Golovkin's personal goal of title unification. Who the hell is any fan to say that is not a valid goal to shoot for? How can you be a fan of the sport and not want to see an UNDISPUTED TITLE HOLDER in ANY DIVISION?
