It was a bad performance when putting into context who he was facing.
Exactly. If he had kept cutting the ring off and put together a few more bunches of punches Wilder would have been in trouble...would have won every round and lost the fight!

I agree. He did a lot of we thought he couldnt do. And Duhaupas proved he was no slow leak. He was game and tough!

      • Wlad is the heavyweight champ, Wilder is a beltholder thats running scared from his mandatory. If this guy wasnt with Haymon he would probably take on better fighters, would have fought Povetkin by now, and he even might win this fight, its a pick em fight between him and Povetkin, but Haymon rather milks the public by fighting more and more bums instead of giving fans a real opponent for Wilder.

          • it was fun seeing Wilder throw the kitchen sink at this guy, what a chin Duhuapas had.

Of course Wilder will get clowned for getting hit by the guy but i thought seeing his full arensal was pretty cool. Yeah he still feels like a trainwreck but he stays patient. got to see some some beautiful, snapping body shots from him. extended inside work too, that was exciting. Offensively there was some nice stuff he did this fight

Watch the teper & charr fights he was in. He is better then people think. He is a fringe contender like chisora & arreola...

              • Just want to see Wilder take on better competition, I have no hate for the guy but once you're champion you have to take on the top Challengers

Time for a big fight next regardless if he is ready or not!

                  • I'm not so sure Wlad would be able to effectively smother Wilder in the clinch. Wilder is one big ****in guy.
