Yeah that's true. I hope it's not just promos either, and that he had it in the contract that Sportscenter has to use more airtime/segments on the sport. Sportscenter, as much as it is a sports news show, it's also at times just one big commercial. They hype the **** out of certain sporting events and people buy in all day long, and if they did that with boxing events it would undoubtedly have a positive effect.

PS,let the fighters get more than a 15 second interview. They won the fight, so give them at least 30-40 second to talk and answer questions.

Mention other fighters that aren't fighting on PBC. Stop pretending that the sport ceases to exist out of the immediate two guys fighting in the ring.

I think it's a little rediculous to expect great match ups every week. I mean hbo has like 2 shows a month maybe and even then they're cherry picks a lot of the time. But it's hbo doe so who cares

I Would rarely broadcast a fight with 2 black fighters fighting each other.

Lets be serious, black fighters don't sell, and now they all try to fight like Floyd, and they generally out on boring fights.

I don't know anyone who has HBO because of boxing. Everyone I know has it for series like Game of Thrones and True Detective. Boxing is a free bonus.

Haymon cannot tell them what to cover on their sports news shows anymore than he can tell CNN what they should cover as news. If that became public knowledge, the scandal would force ESPN to cancel all boxing programming and coverage.

Its not being afraid of change, its basically the concept of "if it ain't broke, don't fix it". Boxing has been fine as it is for decades, but haymons cards have more of a ufc feel to them. Something about a fighter walking alone to an ring,to the tune of generic, family approved music makes me think of a conveyer belt. If haymon somehow betters the sport, then more power to him.

Richard Schaefer! I think having him as the face of the Brand and the guy who speak for the brand would help. Boxing fans are familiar with him and when he shows up at fighting events he gets a lot of love and fans are happy to see him and asking when he is coming back. Also let him get back to matching fighters up like he was doing with GBP when he was getting the fans Loaded Cards!

It is all about the match ups, I know they're trying to capture a new Audience with the TV Time and they're trying to introduce these fighters to a new Audience but you still have to keep the Hardcore Boxing Fans Happy. We know for some they want this thing to fail because their favorite fighter is not apart of it and he fights on HBO and it is nothing PBC can do to make them happy...*** Them! Just like in their everyday lives They Don't Matter!

In order for PBC to work...THE FIGHTERS HAVE TO DELIVER! Right now for PBC fighters are not delivering big wins. In Fact a lot of them lost or struggled during their PBC Debut. Not everybody is ready for a big stage like PBC and it is showing so far.

A of people here saying tougher / bigger fights, but people are overlooking the fact that aside from PPVs the most watched boxing fighters are KO artists.

                    Casuals want to see action.

Golovkin for instance is one of the most watched fighters around because his fights never go the distance. Fans want action, and if that means more mismatches than so be it. Tyson was one of the most hyped and watched fighters in history because he was knocking bums out left, right and centre.

More casuals know Tyson, than Hager, Hearns or Leonard. Yet the latter three had tougher fights.

If PBC wants to succeed it needs to build up fighters by making them seem invincible, whilst, creating rivalries leading towards big clashes down the line. Arum does this really well, which is why he's been around the longest.

                      1. Willing to work with the mid-tier promoters
                      2. Have fights where they actually belong
                      3. Make consistent good fights instead of saving good ones only for NBC
