Yes. He wants to get paid for getting up in the morning and training for a potential war at 38 years old. Otherwise....why bother?

Maybe if Golovkin stopped swerving interesting mid-level fights like Lara, he'd be a PPV fighter already. His team are happy having him feast on feather fisted bums and pray for a handout.

Lara > PPV? You must be joking, or that butthurt is blocking your brain.

There's only a couple of fights that could make GGG a PPV fighter. Froch is borderline, but you'd think he'd be the first to step up given his rep and built in advantages.

Lara was on PPV with Canelo. He's a known commodity. Many thought he won. It would certainly raise Golovkin's profile if he destroyed Lara and there would be direct comparisons to Canelo's performance.

But Golovkin's people are looking for a handout. Tom Loeffler is now scowering the lower end of the top 20 middleweights for GGG's next opponent. "Active" doe

He means if he fought better competition like Lara for a few fights instead of bums he'd be a PPV fighter. Not the Lara fight on it's own making him PPV.

It doesnt happen like that, especially fighting stinkers like Lara. Casual viewer doesnt know Lara from Lemieux, but they know which one they enjoy watching.

The only way GGG goes PPV is over the body of a PPV fighter: Canelo, Cotto, Chavez (was?). Froch is halfway there, UK PPV, big fight globally, most even fight of all of these.

Yeah and Khan is gonna be PPV after he beats Algieri. Canelo Lara was a **** show btw. I don't think GGG needs direct comparisons to Canelo, everyone knows Canelo is not ready, his promoter said so. Understandable, he's young and coming up in weight. Froch OTOH...

That's the problem with you GGG cult members. You degrade accomplished hall of fame fighters that have earned their status by challenging themselves and fighting the best for years.
What you neglect to realize is that if 'the best' fighters your favorites fought all those years had acted the way your favourite fighters are acting today, they never would have had the chance to fight them in the first place because they would have been refused by using the same feeble arguments you use now.

IF the best available refuse to fight a fighter, tell us all how that fighter is supposed to raise his standing? Your so called 'hall of famers' owe something back to the sport by passing the torch, by fighting the up and coming greats of tomorrow. If they do not do that, they should retire and get their selfish asses out of the sport of boxing. Their actions, their refusal to fight, is de****able and unworthy of true champions.

At least Froch has the honor to let his titles go so that others can win and defend them.

That alone made me LOL. Commodity? They don't even know how to market the guy. He is box office poison.
