Loeffler said that they are open to it.
That leaves HBO to approve Lara as an opponent.
Then it's on Lara to ask his "advisor" if he's allowed to leave the front yard, move up to 160lbs and not demand $100 million
What else is Loeffler supposed to do?

How could you possibly know they've made no effort? You don't think Loeffler and Hershman/HBO have discussed possible opponents? Don't you think the Al Haymon issue has came up when discussing Quillin/Lara/Jacobs? There's no possible way for you to know what they've tried, if they've reached out to Haymon for these three guys, if HBO shoots them down, if Haymon shot them down, etc. You can't just say they've made no effort without even knowing what goes behind closed doors.

Regardless it's freaking Lara we're talking about here! The only demand for this fight exists here on NSB, people trying to play boxing manager and say GGG needs to fight him. Lara the person, not his Twitter account, has already said he doesn't plan on fighting at 160. Seems pretty clear he has other plans (probably Charlo) and fighting Golovkin on HBO isn't part of it. Unless PBC is doing business with HBO I don't see any exclusive HBO guys like GGG, Lomachenko, Kovalev, etc fighting any of Haymon's guys. Until we see it happening, it's not happening.

The UK is where this fight makes the most money, like every fight involving Froch. Sorry you don't wanna see him beheaded in front of his home fans, but most of us would love to see this bout.
My point is that Golovkin still hasn't convinced HBO that he's a PPV worthy fighter. Why is that? And why should Froch have to bring everything to the table from the UK for this unproven hype job?

Tom Loeffler literally said this week that he would need a large chunk of the money to fight Ward. And he said the same thing a couple of years ago when Ward was clearly the bigger name.

They weren't willing to pull a Kovalev and take the short money against Ward. Where a win would have made him an instant PPV star. Too much risk, they needed a large chunk of the purse because of their overwhelming and undeserved sense of entitlement.

My point is about GGG-Froch being on PPV in the US. It might reach that stage quicker if his entitled team actually tried to make intriguing fights like Lara.
He said the fight is unmakeable cause BOTH guys would want a good chunk. I don't see why he'd take peanuts now given he's way more of a draw than Ward at the moment. Not that Ward's side is offering anything, they want it to make financial sense first.

Years ago Ward wanted the B-sider to make an offer, despite GGG making a small fraction of his purses. That's not serious, and makes zero financial sense. You don't see Floyd asking Maidana to send an offer.

Make an offer? Isn't that what promoters are supposed to do?

If Lara turns it down and its a good offer, then ok Lara is ducking. But you're pre-emptively trying to renege a fight.

Because Loeffler said the same **** after the Murray fight and he went to HBO with 3 names - none of them were Lara.

And we know that Loeffler loves to shout from the rooftops about offering this guy and that guy a fight. Not even a peep about any Lara discussions. Funny that.

Amen! I just do not understand how the guy can consider Lara an intriguing opponent. He is not elite, he is boring and has the appeal of a mashed potato sandwich. If I am going to watch GGG fight, I would much rather see him fight Froch, who does present a real risk. Lara would run for his damn life, and stink us all out till GGG traps him and sends him packing

He could have taken short money years ago, beat Ward and already be a superstar but he refused.

Too entitled and too much of a risk for the oh so fearless one.

You can doubt all you want. Lets have something concrete. Like say an offer from Tom Loeffler. He repeatedly says the Lara fight can happen. So why does he never put his money where his mouth is?

Since you know that Lara would get KTFO, I'll take your reply as a no to our bet.

I can't believe the idiotic questions. Why is that? Nobody goes out and convinces HBO to put them on PPV dumbfcuk. PPV is no panacea, if it bombs you don't make much. GGG is just not PPV because for that you either have to:

                    1. bring in a large ethnic fanbase, in the US at least.
                    2. beat an established star on PPV

Froch would get the lions share of the UK money, don't worry. He gets a chance for global spotlight he craves, against the most hyped guy in boxing, who is unproven and smaller and willing to fight him in the UK. What's not to like? The likely beatdown?

Why should GGG's promoter make an offer to Lara? who they know is with Haymon, who HBO does not have a working relationship with? You dont get it, Lara needs GGG, not the other way around. If Lara wanted to fight GGG, then Haymon himself should make contact with an offer. Everyone seems to expect K2 to go around sending everyone offers, but does not expect the others to do the same for them.
