In an earlier article on BoxingScene.com, Triple G's promoter Tom Loeffler of K2 Promotions stated that Golovkin has no problem with testing himself by moving up to the super middleweight division to fight Froch.

Froch has been inactive since knocking out George Groves before 80,000 fans last May at Wembley Stadium.

Yes, it's clear as day that Froch hasn't fought GGG because he is a Middleweight. Had GGG been at SMW, or actually comes up to MW, or his Team contacts Hearn like they just did, Froch jumps at the fight, just like he did for every other note worthy fighter at 168.

That's the problem with you GGG cult members. You degrade accomplished hall of fame fighters that have earned their status by challenging themselves and fighting the best for years.

They contacted him last year when the Chavez fight fell through. Those quotes are 6 months old. Froch couldn't make his feelings clearer regarding that bout.

ggg = bum-love-kin...he's not gonna fight froch nor ward..he's a cherry picker...he's after the smaller guys at a catch weight so he can come in 20 pounds heavier come fight night..when you talk about ward, lara, froch then all of a sudden they're too big and there are money issues..yea right lol...his next fight is probably going to be another bum and his fan boys will be on here defending him and crying about how no one has the balls to fight him.

GGG never called out smaller fighters. His fans keep bringing up Floyd and his haters keep bringing up Lara. With Cotto all he wants is the belt.

But this is a positive sign right here.

If GGG wants to move up and challenge the Cobra, then so be it...... this has been a pretty solid year in boxing so far. I see this as a 50/50 fight going in, this is the reason why I watch this sport. For matches like these credit to both Men if it happens.
