Al's pockets better be deep, at some point that money is going to run out though. He's paid off Oscar (Well over 10m) and who knows how much to Arum for Jr. At some point people are going to expect something on their return... then again maybe not. Al's been robbing people of their money for a while.

This is not a civil suit though different rules to this if that's the case HBO doing same thing signing fighters to exclusive contracts so is arum golden boy and such they filed it to try and stop pbc from growing bigger then what it already is and basically to stop them from forming they own belts down the road this lawsuit won't stick it was just filed to prevent certain things from happening down roadYou obviously don't know how a civilsuit works. Plus there is already plenty of evidence regarding Haymon's violations of the Sherman Anti-Trust Act.
I am sure all of these parties did their homework before filing the suit. What the hell is Haymon who is afraid to talk to anyone, whether it be the press or the public, gonna do when he is deposed by a anti trust lawyer? And this is something he cannot avoid. And before some idiot says (I am sure it is just a matter of time) he can just claim the 5th, he can't do so in a civil suit.
Here is someone who does not have an office, office phone, address, never gives interviews, refuses to be photographed, and so on now if that is not the definition of someone being shady I don't know what it is. Tell me what kind of legitimate business or business man does not have an office or a phone number, or behaves in the manner Haymon does? Only organized crime behaves in such a way
Also one more thing, It is about damned time!Comment

Just going to read the article but not surprised that the WBO jumped in I don't think they have 1 PBC fighter with one of their belts ( What a suprise Lee got a gift draw against Quillen ) The WBO seems more like a TR / HBO belt now
Don't know why abc would jump in on this ?Comment

No, it is a civil suit, although the letter to the AG is lobbying for a criminal investigation. This is not a civil suit though different rules to this if that's the case HBO doing same thing signing fighters to exclusive contracts so is arum golden boy and such they filed it to try and stop pbc from growing bigger then what it already is and basically to stop them from forming they own belts down the road this lawsuit won't stick it was just filed to prevent certain things from happening down roadComment

About f'ing time. You can't keep skirting monopoly laws forever. Haymon used every trick in the book to get around this for as long as he could until he went on tv with his own shows. That's where they fk'd up, he could've kept doing his thing via private networks like hbo and showtime but once you cross over in OTA territory you are going to piss off the big boys.Comment

Who is he getting his funding from ? Don't know , prolly saved them Floyd checks he's been getting since 2006 . His business doesn't seem to have a lot of overhead because most of the funding to pay fighters comes from networks per-fight . Or large sums of money from the networks for multiple year contracts . If he does have partners , who cares who they r , as I posted earlier "Dem wealthy folk problems" . My question to u is why the hell r u so emotionally invested in Haymon getting knocked down ? At least has hasn't even attempted to spoon feed us garbage like Manny vs Marquez part 10. Of Manny vs Algeri . As a fan , all u should concern yourself with is PREMIER MATCH-MAKING , and if u don't profess that Haymon is doing a better job than Arum , than u r a racist ! Why do u care how powerful Al is as long as he's bringing u better match ups ? Stop counting another mans money and stop focusing on how much power another man has if it doesn't affect yours , u hater !You are screaming racism, but in the very next sentence you show blatant racism against ***s. Typical race baiting jerkoff. And I am sure Al Haymon is just a poor multimillionaire who only has 1 60ft. yacht. So because others are corrupt then its ok for Al Haymon to be corrupt because he is not super rich, but just rich. BTW who do you think Haymon is getting his funding from and who do you think are his investors.Comment
