It's funny how a 34 year old De la Hoya was washed up but people on here expect a 38 year old Mayweather to take on all the young guns. Better yet, Mayweather hardly got any credit for what he did to a young, strong Canelo Alverez.

You cannot have an intelligent boxing discussion about Floyd Mayweather on NSB. It's just the way it is.

It still haunts him like a spectre. Ripping off his sheets after waking in a cold sweat: "I should of and I would of if I could of."

We know Oscar. Shhhh now. It's alright. It's all right.

Bull****. Utter bull****. Why don't you try watching the fight instead of regurgitating the same old myths.

Lampley tried to say the same thing after the fight and Manny Steward instantly shut him down, pointing out that Floyd never really countered the jab at all. Oscar just stopped throwing it.

And he stopped throwing it because he didn't have any confidence in his conditioning carrying him down the stretch. So instead, he stopped pushing Floyd back with the jab and waited for an opportunity to counter with a big left hook.

For me the fight wasn't close. But even though it would have been a robbery, Oscar would have got the decision if he had worked the jab for just two more rounds.

Prime Oscar could have done that and a lot more.

                    come on floyd fans...

A more offensive floyd at his best weight was getting busted up by augustus al lilttle as he was... that version of floyd wouldve been stopped by hoya

A defensive floyd had minimal offensive output....

So i dont get how anyone could say floyd would beat hoya at his best with a straight face....this argument has no solid basis whatsoever...imo...
