You do? Because I don't. Matter of fact, how can that be determined right now? They are both still active fighters. Manny is the only 8 division Champion in the history of boxing. A lot of where a fighter is ranked all-time, is about opposition faced. Manny's place in history is higher at this very moment. Cotto's place is as well. Cotto is the first fighter in Puerto Rico's rich boxing history to win world titles in four weight classes. That along with his steep and comepetitve resume, trumps ANYTHING Floyd has done inside a boxing ring. So, his undefeated record means nothing in terms of history. Who did he beat who jeopardized that record? Don't worry, I'll wait? His best win was against Corrales.

Cotto is above Floyd all-time? Floyd has accomplished everything Cotto has and more.

you can't just wish it away or make it true because you like Manny. you can't just pick and choose which are "great" or "good" fighters only because they fought manny. It's really a shame that posters like you are not adult enough to handle when your opinion isn't shared.

It's not an excuse. How long have you been watching boxing? Norris gets KO'ed against, even a 30 yr old Leonard. Prime Holyfield beats Lewis up and stops him. Prime Whitaker wins a decision against Tito. Prime Ali beats Holmes. Prime De La Hoya KO's Manny and decisions Mayweather. So again, how long have you been watching boxing? If Floyd was in his prime, Maidana doesn't win three rounds against him. PERIOD.

Prime floyd beats prime oscar.

For example. Ali wasnt even in his prime when he beat guys like foreman and spinks who where much younger because overall he is the better fighter (the holmes fight he was just drugged and drained).

So oscar had all the tools he needed to beat floyd. he was just outclassed. If Oscar was the better fighter. he would have beaten floyd on that day

The point is the better fighter will win even if he is past his prime and is still in shape. oscar was in shape had everything he needed and lost

He also lost to JMM after the list was written, one of the fighters it was suggested he fight along with Sergio Martinez.

Not true at all, man. it's called "passing the torch". Oscar did it with Floyd/Manny. SRL did it with Norris. Sometimes, you have to think about more than just yourself. This is Floyd's "biggest" weakness and character trait. The reason why Oscar will always be more popular and respected, is because he gave us fans what we wanted. Win, Lose, or Draw, Oscar continually fought the very best in the sport. he is also humble and respectful. Floyd is an ******* and nobody but a few likes people like him. It's an unnecessary way to act. He thinks he's bigger than the sport, itself. Saying things over and over like, "Floyd Mayweather is the face of boxing". But what about Andre Ward? Manny Pacquiao? Miguel Cotto? Saul Alvarez? Triple G? Do we not tune in every time they fight, also? How can one man be the "face" of an international sport?

Foh Oscar...The fight was hardly close & u lost ALL ur big fights except vs past their prime stars (sweet pea really beat u too). U never had a shot in hell vs Floyd...& I'm not defending that dummy by saying so....truth is truth.
