Lampley tried to say the same thing after the fight and Manny Steward instantly shut him down, pointing out that Floyd never really countered the jab at all. Oscar just stopped throwing it.

And he stopped throwing it because he didn't have any confidence in his conditioning carrying him down the stretch. So instead, he stopped pushing Floyd back with the jab and waited for an opportunity to counter with a big left hook.

For me the fight wasn't close. But even though it would have been a robbery, Oscar would have got the decision if he had worked the jab for just two more rounds.

Prime Oscar could have done that and a lot more.

So yes you believe that as long as someone is attacking black people that they have a point, but whenever a black person has something to say in return that they are race baiting. Mayweather fought Oscar at Oscar's best weight and allowed Oscar to pick his gloves for him. If the fight had been contested at 130, Mayweather's best weight, Mayweather would have KO'd him.

I disagree, Floyd beats him at any age. I remember Floyd calling out Oscar back then and arum was having none of it. Oscar needed a gift decision to beat a past prime sweet pea, that slippery defense made him look bad. And Floyd back then was way more explosive with even sharper reflexes, this is what people fail to mention, Floyd wasn't in his "prime" either beating Oscar. He simply won by outsmarting him. Had they fought younger I see Oscar getting a serious beating. Floyd hasn't been in his "prime" for the last 5-7 years, he simply is smarter than his opponents and can adjust to anything.
