I watched Wlad-Pulev again last weekend, and couldn't believe how awful Pulev was. He literally stood straight in front of him, no head movement, no footwork, and tried to KO Wlad with a jab. I'm not sure if Pulev is just garbage, or just froze on the big occasion.

I cant remember the last time I seen a good heavyweight fight and I dont see this being any good tbh. Fury is just a dog and Klitschko is past it and only seems to take on opponents he know he can beat. There are no great heavyweights anymore.

Fury is still a big kid, his career has been fast over the last couple years and now he is in a big title fight. There is the Johnathon Banks interview somewhere in this thread too, Banks touching upon how several (other, new, yet unseen) factors come into play when in a world title fight, the biggest moment of your career. For instance you think about your family. It appears to be good for Fury to have his father by his side this time building up.

It would be to Fury's greatest advantage of course if he can approach this fight as relaxed as he portrays himself, 'nothing to lose'.
The scary thing is that according to those who study the brain and evolution, human beings don't reach mature brain capacity until early to mid thirties...Fury really is a big kid.

Wlad's stoppage rate in his last 4 fights is 50%.

              Fury's is 100%

I'm sorry, but going camping doesn't increase your chances with the heavyweight King.

Beating Chisora twice, last time with ease when many people thought he'd get beat. Beating Chisora is better than what Pulev and Jennings did before Klitschko.

Beating Cunningham, Johnson + a few undefeated fighters. Absolutely nothing special resume wise, but at least he didn't draw with a prizefighter guy like Perez or stink the joint out vs a 40+ year old TT.

Fury does have inside game? Why are you putting that in ""?
Just because you say he is a better fighter, it doesn't mean he actually is.

History is filled with guys who looked like a million bucks against Hammers and Abels of the world, but failed to deliever when they faced someone above average.

Fury has faced two above average fighters so far in Chisora and Cunningham. In the first fight Chisora showed up in the worst shape of his life, in the second, he'd been shot for 2 years (Haye KO.)

Yes denium, I know I picked Chisora to beat him.

We all know what happened against Cunningham, he was hurt more than once (despite what most of his fans says), showed zero to none ring IQ, used illegal tactics (he hold USS with his elbow before he dropped him with the right hand, if I remember correctly.)

Pajkic dropped him with the same right overhand as Cunningham did.

He fought guys he was suppoused to beat with ease, and against some of them (Cunningham) he didn't even manage to do that.

Pulev has a jab, decent right hand, good stamina, and good ring IQ. Don't let the Wlad fight fool you, he took the risk, and paid for it but he's a smart fighter.

Same thing with Jennings, he's good at everything, but not great. He's a HW version of Tim Bradley.

Both have beaten better opponents than Fury, which says a lot about Fury's resume.

When Fury draws with Perez or stinks the joint out vs a 40+ year old TT, let me know, I might start considering him a top 5 HW and I might start seeing the skills his fans talk about so proudly.

Until he does though, he's still a hype job. Charismatic and funny, but a hype job nonetheless.

                  at the bolded.
