volume and movement is what gives fury a descent chance imo. if he tries to out muscle wlad and goes for broke he gets knocked out early. if he gets on his stick and throws punches in bunches with constant movement he has a real chance of outworking wlad. wlad has never been a real busy fighter and hes only getting older so fury should take advanatge of that. fury has a real chance here if he fights smart. he moves very well for a big man and throws descent combinations but I dont think hes the type of puncher to really be able to starch wlad unless he gets him extremely tired out like purrity did

Good point, work rate is definitely a key to getting Wlad in trouble. But with his advanced style, it has to be carefully planned work rate. Otherwise, his opponents wind up seeing the lights when they wake up.

Ermmmmm........ yea, good luck with that. I like Tyson and think he has some very good attributes, especially his fighters mentality and size, but Wladimir is superior in every way. Especially punching power and ring IQ.

No he isn't superior in every way. Fury has a higher skillset, is vastly superior on the inside, has a better engine, is more adaptable, is capable of fighting small etc. The main attributes Wlad has over Fury is one punch power & big fight experience.

Wlad's jab and right hand are blistering fast for an above average HW, not to mention his left hook that finds it's mark most of the time as well.

Fury's not slow but he's not in Wlad's neighborhood in speed.

As far as footwork goes, Wlad may look more mechanical but the fact that he never takes damage is a testament to his outstanding footwork.

Again, not even debatable who has better footwork.

You're mistaking a 'higher skillset' for being willing to throw a wider variety of punches.

Fury gets dropped by cruiserweights hard because of those punches. Wlad doesn't.
