I'm a fight fan, I come to see a fight. I come to see 2 warriors refusing to back down, not one guy going backwards the entire fight and one guy chasing the entire fight. Why the **** is that wrong?

Boxing is one thing, Not taking a single step forward is another.
Provo's not that great man deal with it, he got outboxed by a blind man in a small ring that was suppose to favor the face first brawler but instead he got a boxing lesson.

      Sad

Its sad to see when a fighter gets out-boxed and out smarted to start using the " He Ran Excuse". Just Stop it. The name of the sport is boxing, not Caveman Rockem Sockem War... Just be a man and accept your loss with dignity.

I dislike how the running argument is used by Roach whenever it suits his agenda. He didn't say anything whenever Khan ran when he was under his tutelage.

I mean, if you are "judging" and giving your opinion on the fight, personal preference will always play a role.

You could flip it around both ways. There are people who don't like watching brawlers or respect them. Im sure personal preference has dictated their judging as well
Judging fights shouldn't be subjective. The rules clearly state you judge on; clean punching, EFFECTIVE aggression, ring generalship, and defense. And if you judge according to those criteria, the fight wasn't that hard to score for Algeri. To me, the two KDs are the only things that made the scoring close. I thought Algeri clearly outboxed Provo.

provo needs to go to train with the "drunk" the same guy that improved maidana's game will do it for him too. ruslan has no jab, no head movement, he stops everything with his face. he is already a beast, the "drunk" will give him a gameplan for every fight and turn him into a monster.

Agreed. One man has his face rearranged but the devaluation of the sport makes people think that's the "sweet science".

Here's a question for Ruslan: Why couldn't you catch him? You had him hurt, fighting with one eye yet your ability to cut off the ring was not good enough. Golovkin laughs at you.

I wish certain boxing fans would stop trashing the sweet science. Tactical boxers are just as valuable to the sport as your brawlers. If you don't like that then go watch something else. Not all fighters can thrive by fighting like Prov and Rios. Some simply aren't born with that type of talent just the same as Prov wasn't made to develop slick defense.

To Prov's credit if he had gotten the win I wouldn't have complained. The fight was close. It really depends on what you favor: 5 hard punches vs 10 soft punches. The judges chose the latter and I have no problem with that.
