If Ward went to war with Rodriguez and then had a rematch, would Froch fans give him credit for 'always taking on the best'?

If Ward had not had a fight since the injury I would say yes make Froch number 1. But the fact is Ward did defend his title recently. You may not like his choice of opponents but the guy he fought was undefeated and ranked in the top 4 contenders for the 168 pound world title and he most certainly had a pulse.
