Ward is basically retired, so YES, Froch is no.1.

So because Ward beat Froch many years ago he should regain a higher ranking despite rarely fighting and when he does grace the ring with his presence he just bowl over some can.

If Ward is inactive until 17th November then yes as he'll be a year inactive and would drop out of the rankings. Until then, no.

Carl Froch isn't the best at 168 and nothing will change that until he beats Andre Ward. Even Froch himself knows that and wouldn't want people to think otherwise.
